Denver beat us in 5.

As much as I hate to say it, losing to the G League Nugs yesterday prob cut out our playoff experience this year by at least a full round. I honestly would've given us a likely WCF appearance and a real shot at the finals if we had won and the Thunder knocked out the Nuggets, but as it stands, it's hard to bet for the Spurs against Joker and the crew. Would love to be wrong, but that's the guess.
Still super excited to watch and stoked we're back in the mix![]()
This. The loss is not relevant to me, tbh… Harper’s injury, however….
I knew last night would bring out the panic mode.. Man it exploded.. I am over it.. Lets focus on Suns or Blazer and kick their ass..So if I'm understanding some folks in here, our 4 wins in 5 games against the Thunder aren't indicative of our chances against OKC because those were merely regular season wins, but Denver beating us (only once at full strength, in overtime, in their gym) says they're so much better than the Spurs?
I like the doomsday fans.
That said, a second round exit to the Nuggets wouldn't be shocking considering what the Joker is capable of, and the fact that they have the playoff experience. But those regular season games haven't swayed me to think any more or less about our chances against them.
Exactly. Didn't Vic only play in one of the Denver games? Last night sucked and I take it as one of those games were you just played down to the competition. Maybe they thought they had it in the bag and just came out lackadaisical. It is what it is but it doesn't rattle my confidence in the team making a deep playoff push. If you can't beat the best teams on the way to the title then you're not a championship team. Like AC/DC said, "it's a long way to the top if you want to ROCK AND ROLL".So if I'm understanding some folks in here, our 4 wins in 5 games against the Thunder aren't indicative of our chances against OKC because those were merely regular season wins, but Denver beating us (only once at full strength, in overtime, in their gym) says they're so much better than the Spurs?

Yeah, this is pretty much it. Still stoked to see them in meaningful games for the first time in a while. But there's no spinning the fact that how they lost yesterday dipped their ring chances by a considerable amount. Oh well, it's a young team that will learn from it tbh.
Except they didn't from their last two chokes against the same Denver team. In fact they are doubling down on corny bullshit (headbands and catering to Barnes old ass PPG) thinking they got this in the bagYeah, this is pretty much it. .Jokic can outplay and outsmart wemby in 7 game seriesFrom poll results, it hurts see the majority of us have kinda made peace with the inevitability of Denver "daddy-ing" us in the second round. I hope Wemby prove us wrong because i think only his will to win and strive to greatness can break the equation.
I trust Wemby, Stephon, and Harper tbh. It's the "others" that I don't trust. From poll results, it hurts see the majority of us have kinda made peace with the inevitability of Denver "daddy-ing" us in the second round. I would probably add Kornet, tbh.I trust Wemby, Stephon, and Harper tbh. It's the "others" that I don't trust.
