Another one of my favorite high-upside prospects who's been coming on as of late is Chris Cenac Jr. The former 5-Star blue-chip prospect had an underwhelming start to his Freshman campaign, but over the past 6 weeks or so he's looked more and more like the lottery talent that he was projected to be.

Jump-shooting big man with a great NBA profile at 6'11 240 lbs with an elite 7'4 wingspan and very good athleticism, mobility, and fluidity for his size. Coordinated and moves his feet well. Can guard 3-5 and even stay in front of slower 1's & 2's. Good rebounder and plays with a high motor. Already has a man's body but also has the frame and broad shoulders that will continue to fill out in time. Another very good stretch-4/5 archetype that we're looking for to play alongside Wemby. Or potentially a very good backup 4/5 prospect and future Kornet replacement.

Cenac is currently averaging 11 pts, 8 rbs, 1 asts, 1 blk, & 1 stl on 51% shooting and 38% from beyond the arc on 3 attempts per in only 25 MPG. Those numbers are a bit deceiving though imo, as he's playing a smaller role on a very good and deep Houston team that has National Championship aspirations this year. He'd likely be putting up bigger numbers in a larger role on a different team.

He's 14 on my board. Pretty high ceiling, lower floor. I like him on this team.

Yeah, this guy is definitely Brian Wright's "type." I think there's a decent chance he's ultimately the pick.

Let me qualify this statement. Of course, for him to actually be the pick, a number of things have to happen:

1. We don't get into the top 4
2. A top 10 prospect that we like doesn't fall into our laps (i.e. isn't available when we pick)
3. He has to be available when we actually do pick

If all of those things happen, I think there's a decent chance he's ultimately the pick.

Cenac is still TBD on my board but some of y’all just enjoy making stuff up with statements like these, I swear. Smh

How is last year's cult favorite Sergio DeLarrea looking? Don't think he'd be in play for the Spurs anymore... but I was really intrigued by him prior to the Fox and Harper acquisitions.

Same player he was... he can still shoot the lights out at 6'6" he could switch between 2 and 3 with Castle on the floor. I've got others higher where we pick, but he has an intriguing skill set

He's at 32 on the most current Tankathon Mock Draft... would be cool if he was there for us at 36... I'm sure the Pacers would love to give us $250k for the opportunity to draft him

Added Aday Mara, JT Toppin.
Updated Cameron Carr’s comp.

Keep in mind these comps could be made based on play style, and not talent range.

Finally a mock that puts Lopez where he should be. Pretty sure others will follow. He will be a top 10 pick.

I'm pretty lukewarm about nearly everybody in our probable draft range. Seems like a ton of small lead guards and so-so projects; everyone will be gone earlier. But this sort of thing is attractive:

Haugh's positional size, mobility, toughness and nonstop motor make him a versatile option who wins extra possessions and doesn't need his number called on offense to produce. He likely won't create much offense for himself, but this type of profile slots in well alongside star talent, and Haugh has begun to make 3s with consistency. Scouts view him as a viable choice in this part of the draft, despite his age.

Somehow I posted this in the Carter Bryant thread earlier this week instead of here.

Haugh is number 1 on my Spurs board now if the pick is in the 8-14 range.

Lendeborg has gone ice cold from 3 and while I like the rest of his game he doesn’t feel Spurs-y character wise either which Dejounte has also pointed out. Without the 3 point shot I don’t think the Spurs will gamble on that.

I’m still liking Haugh. By no means a sniper but he’s shooting .352% from 3 on 5.4 attempts per game. He’s hit multiple 3’s in 16 of 23 games.

I’ve been trying real hard to convince myself to like him and maybe after more film it will happen… I just feel like there’s not one skill that stands out with him. Like being decent at 3 is nice, but to me, the lack of ball handling skills means you have to be more than decent… or at least have a better post up game… or be a defensive ace… or be a high flyer and dunk over everyone.

If his shooting game is stellar, he could be a Markkanen-lite. But I’m not sure if he will get there.

To me, he's a bigger Keldon in some ways. Good but not great shot... very high effort high motor guy. More of a 4 than a 3...
