Draft 2026 NBA Draft Prospects Thread

I just came on to say I got a look at koa peat. Holy shit he looks good, like a Banchero clone actually. Love the bully ball. If he’s fourth or later I can’t believe the quality of this draft.

Knight of Dreams

All our hopes for the future are centered on the Knight of Dreams!

Is this Boozer or Dybantsa, or something else?

Dipping my toes into scouting the next crop of rookies. Randomly selected Nate Ament first (6'10" PF Tennessee Freshman), and holy cow he's a legit daydream. 3-point shot might not quite be there, but the mechanics look fine. In fact, mechanics stand out most when watching the highlights - graceful is the first word that comes to mind. Mismatch is the second word.

Do us a solid, Hawks.

NC vs Ky is the next matchup I'm looking forward to seeing. Should be an interesting battle between those two. Of course, the Boozer matchup is 'must watch' TV, but it isn't until February.

Looks like 2 extremely talent-laden NBA drafts. I appreciate the intel from the college ball followers. I'm already wondering if D'Aaron Fox gets us one of Dybantsa/Boozer/Wilson and filler. I'm talking to you Joe Dumars.

I've had a couple of thoughts on trading up. I think Boozer and Wilson will be top 4 when its all said and done with Boozer being a future all-star lock, but Wilson having a lower floor but higher ceiling. Trading Fox makes sense if Harper continues to develop like we hope, but my more controversial view is that trading Castle might be better. I could see a team like Indiana or Washington moving a top 4 pick for him + a first. Its risky, but it pushes an extension down the road making it easier to keep Fox and Harper as well as filling a team need.

The other option is keep everyone and the Atlanta pick and take Quaintance or Cenac Jr, whichever is available.

It's a bit of a stretch, but I see a 6'10" mini-Wemby in Nate Ament.

Yea Caleb Wilson is my pet cat of this draft but he's playing himself into a top-5 pick which means we likely won't have a shot at him. For shame tbh.

The answer is for the Spurs to lose all games from here on out, tbh. Caleb is the only one that plays elite NBA level defense amongst all the prospects.

Scout me some dudes in the 12-18 range, because that's the pick ATL will be delivering to us with the swap.

Quaintance, Cenac Jr, Peat, Lendeborg for PF"s. There are some good 2 guard shooters in that range too if we wanna go that route. Sarr from Duke at SF looks nice too.

I was in for Yaxel last year if we could have moved back into the end of the 1st... definitely still interested!

Posted in the wrong thread earlier but Boozer and Peterson are very good players but neither has a distinctive talent. They’re just in NBA bodies and are good at everything. But Harper’s a better pro prospect than Peterson because he has supernatural driving and finishing abilities. And boozer is not nearly athletic enough to be forecasted as such a blue chipper. When he’s up against NBA size and athleticism I don’t know what he is other than a solid 3/4. Good plug and play guy but what’s the point of him being a #1.

Dybansa will be the best of the lot but people will try very hard to find reasons to disagree

New Orleans already traded their pick to Atlanta.

Boozer shoots too many 3's right now for my liking. Would like to see him dominate down low more with his size and strength, especially against smaller competition. Still a solid player of c course, and the Spurs would be lucky to have him, but I actually like Caleb Wilson more as a prospect tbh.

Boozer’s athleticism/verticality looks to be fairly dogshit compared to what you’d expect. He’s big, his dad was in the league, and he’s been put through the basketball player factory, cool. He’ll be a great Wizard.
