Tatum was not coming off a calf strain. It’s Durant and HaliburtonAnd Durant on the Warriors, and Tatum last year?

Nike is certainly happy that people like you exist.I don’t think it’s the shoes. In today’s game, players cover way more ground each game than in the past.
Lakers January schedule is ridiculously easy. I hope they lose a lot.![]()

Apparently this is a separate injury:Reinjury? Same calf?
Except, like the refs calling the second foul in a sequence, the second injury often occurs from an athlete compensating for the first one, particularly if it's not completely healed when they return to competition.Apparently this is a separate injury:
"Reaves recently missed three games because of a mild calf strain in his left leg -- a separate injury from the one he sustained Christmas Day in the first half of L.A.'s 119-96 loss to the Houston Rockets, sources told ESPN."

When I had the MRI on my right knee the doctor said, "Does your left knee hurt?" And when I said yes he told me to stop walking funny and both my knees would heal up on their own.Except, like the refs calling the second foul in a sequence, the second injury often occurs from an athlete compensating for the first one, particularly if it's not completely healed when they return to competition.
And did they....and in what time frame...and for what performance level? When I had the MRI on my right knee the doctor said, "Does your left knee hurt?" And when I said yes he told me to stop walking funny and both my knees would heal up on their own.
Yes it did. Once he said I wouldn't make it worse by working it I got it strengthened back up pretty quickly and I've been fine ever since. Slow white guy level. And did they....and in what time frame...and for what performance level?
Thanks for sharing. My experience coaching travel soccer was that players with hip, leg, and ankle injuries whose parents pushed them to "get back in the game and gut it out" ended up being hobbled for longer periods than those who rested and healed.Yes it did. The doc who looked at my knee was the knee guy for the pro athletes in the metroplex. My experience matches up perfectly with your post which is the only reason I posted my experience.
Yeah gutting out a real injury is madness. Once the doc told me there was no structural damage and I wouldn't make it worse exercising it I was good. Thanks for sharing. The only player we had with a knee injury had it happen on the HS JV team in practice on the opposite leg from his ankle sprain that I'd been limiting his practice and game time for.
