I remember when I was a kid we had one of the first rear projection TVs because my dad sold appliances. It had woofers in the bottom. I would turn on Rap City because I knew that video would play eventually. I would have to change the channel if my parents came home

I'll always be thankful to Rap City for exposing me to East Coast hip hop. Growing up most people I knew were bumping West Coast like Kid Frost, Eazy E, Ice Cube, Too Short, Ice T, etc but the East Coast has always put out the hypest shit.
