Player The unfortunately low-ceilinged Shaolin monastery of Victor Wembanyama

Hardly a surprise that the only Spur who wasn't wilding in NYC the past two nights was the only one who showed up today..That's why he is the franchise guy and the only true untouchable on the roster.

Wemby haven’t won at MSG ever since entered the league

Wemby's offense is trash tbh. Nowhere near MVP level. I don't even know what his offensive identity is or is supposed to be? His PPG look decent but take away dunks and it's starts looking pretty mediocre tbh

His 3pt shooting is sinking deep into the ocean..

When he is moving without the basketball, or God forbid when our coach runs plays for him, he looks great. When he is standing at the three-point line, jacking up the 3 ball or when he’s trying to dribble into traffic that’s when it all goes down the toilet. And in a 7 game playoff series in which the defensive game planning is at an all-time high that could kill us. I wish Wemby and the coaches would commit to finding more mid range jumpers and mostly get rid of the 3’s..

It’s like he wants to use his jumper as the foundation to set up the rest of his game. When it’s falling everything looks great

Earlier this year he was dominating while barely taking 3’s. In the first OKC game he was going to work at the elbows or at the nail. Lately I’m not seeing that as much

And setting up position down low, forget about it

That's not the kind of game he likes, and we have known that for forever now. Aren't his favorites unfortunately KD and Jamal Crawford?

One really sticking issue is that he and Castle don't have one go-to move that they can go and get whenever they want.

Discussions/dreams about winning it all are moot until that flaw is corrected.

He had some pretty backbreaking turnovers at moments we had a chance to get back in the game today... I don't think he should be absolved from any blame for this loss either. I gave him a 1 along with a lot of others.

The staff seems to forget about some of the plays they were calling for him early in the season, all too often.
Like, what happened to that high post setup at the top of the key? We were ready to proclaim that the most unstoppable play in basketball.

Castle does have a go-to. Bulldoze his way to the rim for either an and-1 or his shot getting stuffed.

I genuinely feel like the coaching staff lets him just sort of roam out there and react instead of structured offense. It’s a little bit concerning that we have this record based on strictly talent, and the coaching is very much secondary. They have these undisciplined stretches that when POP was at his peak never would’ve happened. And if it did, he’s going postal on the sideline and it’s instantly addressed.

I believe Victor is getting farther from the possibility of a quadruple double.

Not that he can't do it, but this season his assist average has sunk and it's obvious he's letting our 3 PGs handle the ball a lot more than he used to. That's why I think he would have a harder time getting to 10 assists in any game. Not that it couldn't happen, but I believe it's more unlikely now than previously.

Come on my guy. You dont need to ball handle any more 😂
I hadn't watched this yet. I thought someone in the game thread mentioned that he said he needs to watch handling the ball in traffic more and to do that less. In this video he's saying he doesn't get enough reps ball handling and playmaking and needs to do that more and that they'll need that in the playoffs. Not sure what you guys think about that?
