Fair enough. I’m also a big Wilt Chamberlain fan. I’ve seen lots of his old games. Interesting that you have Hakeem on the list and no Shaq. FA to the Lakers. I like Dr. J on the list. That’s a good one. The Big O is good too.
Look, Shaq was great. He was dominant. There's never been anybody as athletic at that size. He moves like nobody at that size ever.

That said, he was a lazy motherfucker. He didn't work hard. It's why Kobe hated him. He had a bad toe at the end of one season and he went the entire offseason without doing anything and waited until he showed up to camp to get surgery and didn't show up until December. That's not an all-time great player. Combine that with this free throw shooting...

"correctly" or not he totally threw his teammate under the bus in public

"yeah i dno why kawhi is being a little bitch, he definitely should be back playing, i mean look at me!"

plus, we've now seen that kawhi apparently has some longer term/chronic injury and not just some acute thing he could have healed to 100% from like TP did with his
U can't stick to uncle's bitch. He threw the whole team under the bus that year

Chamberlain is underrated in the Goat conversation................
People penalize him for the era he played in. The fact is, to this day, there's never been anybody that size that even comes close to doing the athletic things that he did.

And he averaged over 48 minutes a game playing in canvas shoes playing back-to-back-to-backs and 4-in-5-nights while riding in buses and flying commercial.

I have to say, your avi crushes my soul in laughter every time I see it.

Yeah Idgaf anymore. I'm tired of the fanboys overrating players just because they have big fanbases.

1 Jordan
2 Chamberlain
3 Duncan
4 Magic
5 Bird
6 Hakeem
7 Oscar
8 Curry
9 West
10 Dr J

My rule for today: nobody who forced their way to the Lakers. šŸ˜‚
I can't hate on LeBron going to LA. He was the anti-Kawhi and did it the right way: namely playing out his contract and signing as a free agent instead of this trade me now or I'm not playing nonsense. Also man I gotta have Moses over most of that 7-10.

Wilt is so hard for me to rank. On one hand he was a Rodman level statpadder who just quit playing defense once he picked up his fifth foul because he was determined to finish his career having never fouled out of a game (what a stupid record that no one gives a shit about). And seeing Baylor and West wanting no part of playing with him back in like 66 or 67 when the Lakers had a trade for him worked out because he sucked all of the air out of his team's offense is pretty damning after Russell had just kicked their asses 3 or 4 times. On the other hand he's easily the greatest athlete in the history of the league and was unguardable under 1960s rules that were basically there just to punish him. I can't imagine the wrecking ball he'd be if he could play under the rules Shaq did when he could just bull guys over in the paint all night.

Oh shit, dude, I completely forgot about Moses. Yes, you are correct. Super underrated as a big man.

That's an excellent point. He was much more effective later in his career when he stopped playing just for himself.

Kobe was a gym rat, but he was there for himself. Victor's there to be great for the team so that the team can have success. That's more Timmy than Kobe all day long.
Agreed Kobe was also anti social and didn't want to have relationships with his teammates off the court. Victor to me is the opposite from what I have seen when it comes to wanting to have relationships with his teammates.

Timmy was just as much of a gym rat and hard worker Kirby was. Don't fall for the narrative bs.

The difference is solely in PR. Kobe made sure everybody knew how hard he worked tbh

:st-lol:
I feel like certain people out themselves as Lakers fans when they say shit like that.

The Kobe PR machine was damn good, and exacerbated by his death tbh.

I would never immediately call somebody something as demeaning as a Laker fan just cuz they fell for the propaganda, especially some of the newer Spurs fans tbh.
