Yeah, I still get mad about this thinking about it now. A few people bringing it up has stirred up some old emotions. That year Camby won it, but couldn't guard TD in the playoffs for barely a minute is one that sticks out to me.

Its not about his game. Its about the design of the shoe. Giannis sell shoes because the design of it. Its desiged for a guard. Guard shoes sell well. Big man dont.

bigs shoes mostly bulky,hicut and bulky. Giannis signiture is designed for guards and you’ll see guards and wings wear it. You dont see guards wearing jokic signitures.

Giannis sells shoes because they’re affordable. His shoes are a lot cheaper than most other basketball players’

I can find out... I've got some intel connections over there.

I did get to see some prototype Wemby shoes a few years ago when I got a tour of their campus (which is the most amazing corporate setting I've ever seen... I want to work in the mail room there when I retire :st-lol:)... they were fittingly weird.

Just some shit I've noticed over the years as a sneakerhead:

Wemby wears GT Hustle 3s.

Some other footwear I've noticed on our guys:

Devin used to wear KD (i've seen him in 13s and 14s) but for the last year he's worn Book 1s, which are IMO some of the best designed basketball shoes for casual wear outside of something like Jordan 3/4/5s

Tre Jones frequently wore Kobe Proto 6 Reverse Grinch

Keldon and Fox have their own signature shoes

Castle usually wears Jordan Tatum 3 and 4s

Barnes is a Jordan guy, and usually mixes it up with some cool retro models here and there

Harper usually wears stuff from the Zoom GT Cut, but I've also seen him in Kobes a couple of times (I think the IV)

That's true, but IMO, the biggest thing TD had working against him was having to play with another DPOY caliber player for his whole career. When you have 2 players on the same team in contention for the same award they take votes away from each other.
