This season Kornet did a great job of backing up Victor. But I think the 3rd center role has been a complete black hole. If Wemby has to be at his best in the postseason then the Spurs have to get one more competent / veteran big next season and for later. I hope they get Timelord (quite possible) or even Porzingis (who might opt for a short contract to prove himself and require a winning situation where he can play spot minutes) or perhaps a healthy Quantaince as the 19th pick. This will maximize Wemby and also limit the damage in the non Wemby minutes when Kornet has to sit because of injury / rest etc.

Flagrant foul rules were in place for two things, tell the fans that the league care about the players health and make the game more accessible to the rich suburban families, and yet the flops and offensive fouls that the league is encouraging to push these news making stat lines definitely hurt players and drive away some fans.

That’s pretty awesome, and it shows that he has such a good head on his shoulders. So many athletes in his position would just buy up a bunch of those cards and not worry about the price.
