Player The unfortunately low-ceilinged Shaolin monastery of Victor Wembanyama

the 65 games threshold is for idiots.. it should be 80% of the median of the top 10 price candidates.. if most candidates play around 70 games, why would you have a threshold at 65, it is really dumb

Why should it be 80% of the median? That's just as abitrary as anything else. Why not 79% of the median? Why not 81% of the Median? I'm ok with moving it although I like it pretty close to what it is but acting like there's some magic percentage of the median and that that percentage is the obvious number is just laughable.

Consider the source…

Has the WOAI listening crowd in San Antonio turned on Wemby yet, tbh?
Ugh I hate hearing the term "carbon footprint." It originated as propaganda from BP to try to make people blame themselves for global warming instead of blaming the oil companies and the governments they own.

You're right and I hate it too, but I do like that he's thinking about the impacts of an activity like flying - especially because he does it so much. I think it's him communicating that he's understanding that he has gotten a lot of resources to help the fight and he has a responsibility to help in it. I don't think people are responsible for stopping climate change through personal actions but rather through policy avenues and I actually think that was his point. Its a position that is well beyond his years, honestly, but that's basically what we've come to expect form this guy. He's exceptional in so many ways - not just physically or athletically.

Your arbitrary thresholds are stupid, but mine are brilliant

it can be any reasonable number and it could be adjusted each year as well, to fit the nba's need of decreasing franchise players scratching their balls

which... to be fair... is a correct statement

it's actually, a young men's perspective

25/11.5/3.1 with 1 steal and 3.1 blocks in 29.2 minutes.
51/35/83 shooting splits.

I'd say a significant improvement in ball control and decision making, despite still needing some work.
Should easily be at 28ppg next season if healthy.

Minutes should also increase to 34-35mpg.

So much less turnovers per game too

I think he's gonna go full bore for MVP next year and 30+ should silence some of the "too raw offensively" critics tbh.

FWIW, I don't think any of his efficiency metrics will drop as a result. I think he's just gonna be that much damn better.
