Player The unfortunately low-ceilinged Shaolin monastery of Victor Wembanyama

This was the trifecta just after the dunk, before the end of Q1

Random thing to keep an eye on if Wemby does end up playing Sunday:

With last night’s insane performance, he’s up to a 29.9 PER. Another strong showing in the final game could push him into the 30s.

Youngest player to post a 30+ PER? A stat that doesn’t even really capture defensive impact and he’s going to win DPOTY as well :st-lol: Stupid stuff tbh.

If thats the case luka shouldve have already won 1.
you were the one bitching that Wemby should score more points for the MVP. All the players ahead of Wemby in that list scored more points than him but he is the best defender by far.

? I just replied to your post saying that the MVP is just scoring. If thats the case then luka should’ve won.

I said that because wemby’s scoring is too low for MVP consideration. But wemby dont necessarily need to be a scoring champion to win the MVP.

I guess, I'll more precise next time since you took it literally. You still have to play for a team with a decent record.

I noticed this too.

'14-'15 Davis finished with a 30.81 PER and was younger than Wembanyama by about two months.

One way of looking at it is that’s a 0.5% ROI for a relatively short-term tie up of capital if you can hold out until right before its announced… that beats the stock market! :st-lol:
I'm surprised they're still taking bets. Wemby's rookie year they pulled ROY bets like 2 weeks before the end of the season once it was clear the race was over. I doubt they'll be taking DPOY bets much longer and certainly not right before the announcement.
