Player The unfortunately low-ceilinged Shaolin monastery of Victor Wembanyama

Thanks! It's been a VERY welcome sight, because there's just no other play I want them to run heavily in the post-season.

I think many of us had that tantalizing "can you imagine a PnR with Wemby?!?" idea ever since he was drafted, and it really hasn't disappointed one bit ever since Fox and Wemby built up their chemistry. I've also seen some crazy reverse PnRs with Wemby as the ball-handler...... We're spoiled as fuck tbh :st-lol:

i think they are going to shoehorn wemby into dpoy before making him an MVP contender. unlike wemby, luka and SGA have overwhelming playoff experience. despite being a regular season award, playoff experience matters in voters mind and wemby has none.

playoff games doesnt matter in the mvp voting. Lmao

That's kind of crazy that Alvarado and Towns have more PnR/Pick and Pop plays than Victor and Fox. How long have they been together? Less than a month, isn't it?

it does. its an analog for experience. explicitly i mean prior playoffs. There has never been an MVP who has no playoff experience. and most have extensive experience when they win. unfortunately this is unfalsifiable logic, unless you get a truth serum to the voters.

Dont be some whacko who says wemby can't win because MVP is a offensive skill only award. This is also mostly unfalsifiable. you have to go back to celtics era to find centers with wemby's numbers getting an MVP.

It deoends. But i really do think that playoffs doesnt impact mvp voting.

Offense is more vaulable than defense when it come to MVP voting. But im not saying wemby's offense is the one that stop him frim winninv mvp. Its the load management and minutes restrictions.

Love it. The highlight reel is already absurd but it’s time to start adding some game winners to really get working on that GOAT resume.

This was a big game for the MVP race. He’s still got an uphill battle but losing to Phoenix tonight and further losing ground to OKC would’ve been tough to overcome. 34/12 with a game winner keeps things somewhat interesting.

Reposting a moment in history....

Damn....Wemby look so young in these video. It has only been 2 years?? :st-lol:

IIRC some prefer we take Scoot Henderson :st-lol:

Is there any other 1st pick that cried tear of joys when he got drafted? :st-lol: Probably they are thinking "damn what a shitty team, so now I gonna play for my bag" :st-lol:

What a shot from WeMVP to seal the game - calm, collected and methodical. Glad he made it as he'd been missing some go-ahead midrange shots in past games - that's a great confidence builder leading into the playoffs.

Beating the Sons while clinching a playoff spot at the same time just makes it all the better. Shaolin Wemby does it again :vic-cheers:
