I am good with the spirit of the 65 game rule Load MGT. But I would drop it to 60 games..

IDK I'm a little worried with how he looked walking off the floor last night. He came back in and played. Mitch said that was a good sign. If this was a playoff game he'd 100% have stayed out there but why push it. He'll be fine. EVERYONE is playing with all kinds of bumps and bruises at this time of year. I'm not even pressed as long as there's no ligament/bone/joint injuries. This was some kind of a bruise/contusion.
So I have to pick up my own damn pizza?I'm not doing any work today until I get a report on Wemby

Well, if they had found him, we wouldn't have the players that are throwing lobs to him this season.every time i see these stretches of wemby catching 3-4 lobs over the course of 2 minutes i think back to all the times in the rookie year we'd point out he was open for lobs but teammates were simply not finding him

It was a dysfunctional roster by design, can't complain with the results tbh.Well, if they had found him, we wouldn't have the players that are throwing lobs to him this season.
Our useless beat reporters have no info??
I think in this case no news IS good news. Our useless beat reporters have no info??
This has always been my stance.I used to say I didnt agree with sitting out actual healthy games because what if he actually got injured for real later on…
I wasn't able to watch the game real closely last night. Is Steph saying he left the game to check on Vic?
I'm 50/50 on the rule. It has its positives and negatives. The league has for whatever reason to many healthy players sitting out games. At a time when theyre making a ridiculous amount of money per season it just a bad look and hurts the fans who pay big bucks to see them play. The rule helps in that regard. On the other side it also makes players who should probably take time off for a injury try to play to meet the quota risking further injury. I've always said if you're healthy enough to play you play if you're not you sit. There is no reason for healthy players to be sitting as there is no reason for injured players to be playing. And I mean a real injury. Something that could get worse if you risk it, not some little boo boo. Maybe they should add some more exceptions to the rule. Injuries are part of the game and I think Silver should understand that. If a player gets a serious injury or break something they shouldn't be penalized for not playing because they physically can't. Maybe in those scenarios you can count the miss games differently. For example if you miss 3 weeks, 10 games it only counts for 5 games because of the severity of the injury. I don't think sitting players for rest should happen though. I mean at the end of the day most players are playing like 30 minutes a game. Thats not really a lot in my opinion. We are talking about some of the most fit, athletic people alive. On back to backs just let them play the minimum if they really need the rest that bad.
Yep, exactly what I just said above. The Spurs sat him in games he could have played and Victor went along with it. If he loses the award again, it's partly his fault for listening to them.Let's not pretend Spurs didn't play it extra safe with the calf situation and then also DNP'd him as a precaution against both the Nuggets and Clippers.
If we're going to have a stupid games limit rule, I said it earlier in the season, it should be between 25-30% of games, so rounding up 62 or 58 games (I think 58 personally).or potentially 60-62 games, if a player had the right to petition to have between 3-5 games 'excused'.
Im hoping this is media using “x rays negative” as a colloquialism for more-advanced imaging. Don’t want any surprises
Yeah "Later today" When it is later in the afternoon already.. Last night he had all the tests done..Im hoping this is media using “x rays negative” as a colloquialism for more-advanced imaging. Don’t want any surprises
Nvm didn’t watch until now he said “more tests” today. No way he couldn’t have gotten more imaging last night wondering if Shams is just blowing hot air
I've heard this mentioned the past few days by the media, but this argument doesn't help Victor at all.Danny Green just argued that "total minutes" played should also be considered, rather than just games, for postseason awards. not that this would have helped Wemby any. lol
