Player The Uncertainty Realm of the Improved Jumpshot of Jeremy Sochan

212 games over 4 years and still shoots a jumpshot like it’s his first time touching a basketball.

Congrats to the gold digger. She's set for life now. Gon separate soon and get that child support bag $$$
A part of me wants to shun this talk but it’s too real.

The baby trap is stronger than any nba skill. It’s deep. It transcends all legal institutions.

If I was a pro athlete or a player in any of the 3-4 major leagues I’d freeze a ridiculous amount of sperm and get a vasectomy.

Bitches be trifling.

Protect your bag because it’s literally your nutsack.

I mean, maybe the guys that bought up that he's not practicing enough could be correct. I, for one, don't think that, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Sochan was slacking in practice and not working hard enough to improve. The reason I'm thinking that way is, after the Allstar game, Anthony Edwards said something along the lines of - he has the confidence to do what he does in the games (hit those big shots) because he's got confidence from working hard and all the practice he does. I don't normally need a player of his calibre to say this, but it was nice to hear it from AE out loud.

More than likely, though, he just has no feel for shooting and no amount of practice is going to turn that around.

She has nearly 2x the amount of IG followers as Jeremy does... maybe he is the one who baby trapped her, realizing that this NBA thing might not work out :st-lol:

Or... maybe these two actually have a real relationship and they care about each other and want to start a family. That's always a possibility (though someone on Sochan Reddit said they broke up a few months ago and there was some infidelity possibly... who knows and honestly who cares)

I’m not mad at what Sochan said. He wasn’t given opportunity, true. I say it is because he didn’t earn it. He might think differently but the team’s record without him speaks for itself.
Not only was Sochan’s play terrible this season, but there were also some subtle signs that he wasn’t the most reliable guy to show up on time for things.
Bad basketball + bad for the culture = adios 👋
I genuinely hope he finds a home in the league. He’s not a bad guy, mostly just an idiot.

Scott. My dear, sweet Scott. The kid can't fix his jumper, which is what his career depends upon. That baby is fucked.
Sometimes I wish my daddy was a millionaire and I was fucked like that baby :p

Already dyed his hair to NY colors :st-lol:

looking forward to his revenge game in march

I mean that interview right there is exactly why I wanted this dude off the team. Zero accountability alongside 100% denial and immaturity. You need professionalism from players when going after a chip.

Some cats get it. Others get left behind.

Dude had almost 400 minutes to show he had something to add to this team and failed to do so. Maybe he should come to terms with that fact before applying blame externally.

Man, sounds like Jeremy was believing his Reddit Sochan-stans hype and love. I will say that Mike Brown might be a good coach for him. But opportunity? 4 years and millions of dollars is an opportunity that we'd all kill for here. Opportunity for playing time? Play well, like better than others on your team, and playing time usually follows. He didn't live up to his side of the bargain and I bet Mitch and Sean both had trouble teaching him the schemes that were a bit more involved than previous years where Pop admitted that the team couldn't handle anything beyond basic plays and schemes. I still wish him luck, but, he's delusional and NYC eats those types alive.

IDK why anyone's hating on Sochan on here. He played hard and treated his teammates and fans with respect. Plus, he's absolutely right. He wasn't given opportunities this year. As I've said before, you can thank CB and HB for that. Wish him the best, but we just didn't need him. Spurs got first world problems. They did right by him at the end by buying him out. They could've waited until the offseason and likely got something for him.

Maybe Jeremy's baller IQ is higher than we thought ;).

One thing, though, he mentioned that the Spurs had a deep roster and that is maybe one reason for lack of playing, but IMO, NY has maybe an ever deeper roster, so how does he expect minutes there if he couldn't crack a so called deep roster in San Antonio?

I will also say, if anyone can get him to play better, Mike Brown might be able to do it. MB was the guy that looked after Stephen Jackson on the 2003 Championship team (trying to reign him in a little bit), so I do think he knows how to deal with players that are a little off book.

Seriously. it's water under the bridge. Whatever the reason was - and we can speculate until years later probably when some Kawhi-esque revelations come to light - kid more or less was professional when he was in SA. And I don't think he burned bridges by that little spicy statement he just made re Mitch. It was honest and he kept it succinct.

Wish him all the best.

He had plenty of opportunities but Carter Bryant was the nail in his coffin.

Agree 100%. The writing was on the wall once they drafted Bryant. He should have focused more on basketball, but didn't for lack of trying or lack of skill. Either way the team is better off now than it was at this time last year. So Sochan go do your thing in NY and we'll do our thing here. Wouldn't it be something if the spurs and knicks met in the finals ? He can only wish.

Pretty innocuous comment considering it's Sochan tbh.

Several guys went into the off-season needing to improve their shooting, and Sochan was on top of the list. Then Bryant fell to them in the draft and it became clear they weren't going to extend Sochan because they believed Bryant had more upside.

Then the season started and it was obvious that the team was no longer in tank mode, Sochan hadn't improved, and by January Bryant was already performing better than Sochan.

The only bad thing is they couldn't snake a late first out of some team for him. Once Bryant took his minutes it was over and he was getting traded or released.

That means nothing. A woman posting half nudes on insta always going to have more followers than some dude, even if he's an end of bench NBA player
