Player The Uncertainty Realm of the Improved Jumpshot of Jeremy Sochan

the problem is that for some reason, you guys think that mitch giving up on him, says anything about his talent or improvement.. mitch chose the current core and there is no room for sochan, that's all there is to it, when teams are 10+deep, this is going to happen no reason to take this as proof of anything.
What? Our biggest hole is a starting PF. If he was good enough, the job is his for the taking.

I think Sochan is back...

Baiting Memphis on that stupid challenge and hitting two 3s and throwing alley oop to Vic against LAL. His post game altercation with Vando is also something that can spark the team. No other Spur can provide this kind of wild card energy.

He can earned himself back in the rotation tbh.

Meanwhile, please send CB and Grandpa Barnes to the G league or something :st-lol:

he's played above expectations overall. its tough to bounce back from being totally out of the rotation and do good things.

drumming up some trade value imo

Good we get some value on a trade.

Sochan is being done a massive disservice by this front office, as proven by his monster games against MEM and LAL. That was star material out there, and we are just squandering it. Another team will acquire him and he'll turn into a multiple time all star. If I were an opposing GM, I'd be on the phone right offering up draft capital for him.

2 and 6pts the last two games, monster games?? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

That first three he hit absolutely ripped the chord without touching rim.. probably for the first time in his career

I will say, with how horrendous the team's three point shooting is right now, there's no reason not to play Jeremy. May as well give him some run. He could shoot better than what some of these guys are shooting. I'd like to see him get his confidence back and see what he can do.

If he's been benched for being late to practices, team events and/stuff like that, I'd actually rather hear that than for reasons of him not getting the offense or defense.

I actually would not.
You're making millions and if you can't show up for those few hours of work daily, then you don't deserve to be on the team even if you're a great player, let alone a fundamentally flawed one like Jeremy.

He can see the floor only when both Castle and Kornet sit, otherwise our spacing isn't good enough.

I am not sure why CB has such a "long leash" by Mitch tbh. (although like less than 10min per game but this short stretch can absolutely kill a game momentum played by professional nba players) :st-lol:

But after this horrendous stretch, I say Mitch should give all of CB min to Sochan.

Somehow it feels like Sochan has a greater chance of giving a 'spark' to the team compared to CB. CB's blowing dunks are really demoralizing (similar to Ben Simmons passing up open dunk when seeing Ice Trae tbh) :st-toast:

currently the best 3-point shooter on the team. If the rest of the squad shoots an amazing 8.6% from 3....might as well play Jeremy. He can't shoot worse than that and at least gives you some rebounding and defense out there.

His shooting is only part of the problem. The bigger issue is that he doesn’t know how to participate in a half court offense, and nothing has changed from 24 hours ago.

We don’t want a player unguarded in the corner. And he’s always going to be unguarded. We also don’t want a player to dribble into the paint with no plan and turn his back to the basket desperately looking for a handoff. Those are his 2 main actions.

Flow state Jeremy can pass for an NBA player. When the adrenaline goes down he’s a mess. Same as it ever was
