Player The Uncertainty Realm of the Improved Jumpshot of Jeremy Sochan

You guys think if Sochan is sulking in the locker room and might make any disturbance to the team?

Hope he got traded by the trade deadline.

a pretty meaningless game against Utah that required them all to be dead eyes to win…it was the right move to give him minutes. 9 man rotation or 9+lunch lady…not gonna cut it in the long run. Scrubs gotta go be scrubs sometimes.

If the task is going out there and just filling space, Sochan is ahead of Bryant. If you need contribution, then you go with CB.

really don't understand all the hate on this poor kid. Some guys are just late bloomers, he's only 22 years old, give him some room and time to develop.
Poor kid? Dude is immature and isn’t good at basketball. He’s lucky he was born 6’8 bc otherwise he wouldn’t even be in the league. Let him be a “late bloomer” elsewhere. I wish him the best on the Wizards going forward but we have a group of guys who actually want to work the right way and win.

Jeremy is just misunderstood. He needs time and space, that's all. All this pressure to produce as a 22 year old is the downfall of our society. He's 22. A child in some ways still, can't we just agree to enjoy the growing into manhood process?

Not talking height. Oviously...

if you’re 22 and you were a lottery pick who was one of the focal points of the team’s investment in player development and you got a ton of playing time and infinite opportunity for multiple years and you still haven’t improved and still aren’t a rotation player on a decent team, then your age isn’t a consideration anymore. 22 might as well be 32 when you completely stall out for 4 years.

brah. he just needs a bit more time to develop. not everyone can be Wemby year 1. He's got the tools, just needs the space to utilize them. it is way to early to give up on this kid, and I mean kid. He's 22, he can be something special if we just give him what he needs

I sure can enjoy that. When he’s on the Wizards. Or the Jazz. Heck he can go to LAL for all I care. Let him be a child elsewhere.

Right now he needs an extension - what kind of money do you think he should get? To me, based on this season’s production, the QO is way too much.

The way hes been playing he could be waived by next year.Hes not getting no extension.

need to compare him with Castle and Harper.. both younger but playing much better.. some times u got to be cruel in order to build a good team.

If they don’t trade him before Feb which I think is likely, the Spurs will let him test free agency and let him go if he receives the biannual exception ($5.1M per). I could see a team with the BAE giving him 2/$10.5M or so with a team option second year.

The excuses for Sochan are like the excuses we had for Lonnie and Samanic when Pop wouldn't play them. Where are those two now, by the way?

I highly doubt Mitch would be benching Sochan when he fills a position of need, DESPERATE need. Yet, he just sucks so much that Mitch would rather ride or die with Barnes or play an inexperienced rook in CB.

It was ignorant and obnoxious of Sochan to think posting a workout highlight of him shooting 3s was going to give him an extension. Boy did that backfire strongly. He should have been working on that as soon as he was drafted. Then again, blame goes on Pop and the old personnel for not giving enough of a shit to develop him especially with how raw he was.
