Player The Uncertainty Realm of the Improved Jumpshot of Jeremy Sochan

Tbh I don’t see where the Sochan hate comes from. The dude did so much for us as a player on our franchise. He showed up every game, played any and every role he was given, made no stink about moving to the bench, and also we heard no bad blood about him unfairly having his minutes limited on our team. On top of that he even dyed his hair like Spur favorite Dennis Rodman and tweeted F the Rockets once.

What else could you ask of a player tbh? I don’t get it

Yeah. He did all that and regressed as a player who was a net negative on the floor. Saying that is not hate, but facts.

I don't think it's hate but it's basically that he's an unserious player that is more concerned with dyeing his hair and being stupid on the court rather than actually improving his skill set. When you peak as a rookie and don't improve your game at all it speaks to him not being dedicated or serious about improving. I liked Sochan but his shtick quickly got old. You can't be barking and acting like a clown when your game is ass

It's the most insane thing ever. These guys genuinely hate him because he didn’t end up being a great fit for the Spurs. They legit act like he was the reason we weren't title contenders all these years lol. They act like they're writing his paycheck. I really don't understand the mental wellbeing of some people. How someone can get you so emotional over something that doesn't affect your life one bit is ludacris. The Spurs could've signed him to a 10 year deal and I wouldn't have cared one bit. But some of these guys would cry just because he's sitting on the bench lol

He was not really athletic for an NBA player. He didn't jump well for his height and couldn't finish if a defender was near the basket that's why he stopped and looked to kick it back out.
I don't think any of those things are correct except for the first one, as the average NBA player is a freak athlete and Sochan was about average. He probably led the team in dunks pre-Victor, and he only started choking under the basket as his confidence eroded and he didn't want to get fouled and shoot free throws.
