Site Update The State of Baseline Bums - Jan 1, 2026

I first joined SpursTalk in 2004 and it blew me away to finally find other people who were just as obsessed with the Spurs as I was. I was really bummed to see it go downhill in recent years. I can't stand the Spurs sub reddit so it was a bit of no man's land for really good Spurs discussion.

This place has been incredible, it is always so nice to see anyone from the old site who migrated.

Hell, even T Park is here!

Thank you for all the hard work! It would have been a travesty to have only the broken SpursTalk (site is down again as usual) to talk about this awesome season so far. It even made me reflect on how I was engaging on SpursTalk and how I didn't want that to be the case here. We can still have sniffers vs edgelord discussions without toxic name calling. Most posters here are very respectful. Maybe winning again does impact how we act lol.

@dbestpro, if you're reading this, you're always welcome to join us when you can stop living in denial that ST is fine and dandy.

Here's to a wonderful 2026! With hopefully much good to discuss on this site. Appreciate all the staff at BB as well as the users. Each and every one of you brings great insights and laughs to make it a real solid community.

I think I joined Spurstalk in 2006. This year would have been 20 years. But I'm glad to see most of the old crew is still around on this new site.

Has been in SpursTalk since around 2005 and consider myself quite active during the big 3 run. Did not really posted much or visit SpursTalk during the Dark Age (after Nephew left) but Spurs lucked out and drafted Wemby really did reignite my interest and passion for the Spurs.

Truly grateful and thankful for the admin staff at BB for creating this platform after the decline at SpursTalk.

Happy 2026 and I know this place will grow even more as we go deeper into the season!

I started during the FullSportPress days which transitioned to SpursTalk. It was sad to see what was happening at the end over there. But thanks to the efforts of three diehard fans that refused to let the conversation die, we now have a new, stable home. Cheers to everyone that makes this site special!

It was very smart to make it look similar to the other site. To the eyes the transition was seamless.

I just want to leave a THANK YOU here!

Glad this place exists and glad it's not as poisonous as the place we came from.

thanks for providing an alternative to what had become a dumpster fire of a site and welcoming us all in. kudos, as well, for policing the forum so that it can remain a civil community focused on the main reason for being here, to discuss the state of our beloved spurs.

Outstanding job guys. Never imagined it would get this good this quickly.
