Player The restricted-age video store section of Dylan Harper

So with Harper back sochan will be shooting in the high 80s from 3!

i know Castle's assist numbers skyrocketed shortly after, but i distinctly recall seeing a big difference between them in half court sets. dylan was always looking to set up passes, manipulating defenders with his eyes the whole way, etc. meanwhile really seemed like castle was just looking to score and assists came as a byproduct of the defense moving over.

harper definitely has the point guard mentality even though his college numbers made him seem like a scoring guard. probably had more to do with the cast around him than his intention

Everybody can’t simultaneously look to set up guys, or the ball would never go in the basket. My guess is that Castle was told to look for his, first. When he was given the keys, he was quite effective in setting up guys.

i mean sure, any time a point guard penetrates, they need to look to score if the defense just gives it to them. but realistically there is an expectation of rotations or gaps in the defense that the ballhandler can help manipulate and foresee. and obviously, some point guards are just better that part of the game, and some end up a bit more tunnel visioned where they either go up for a wild shot or can only make the relatively easy pass

Castle is very good and whipping passes to the corner and lob passes, at this point better than Harper I think.

His bro went off :st-lol:

He kind of reminds me of Harden. I know Harper Jr is 6'5" but I don't know why he looks 6'5" and 250.

Wow. Didn't expect that. I thought he was still a week or so away at the earliest.

It's a really small sample size, but his net ratings were off the charts in every lineup.
We really need him back.

Look at that, positive net rating even when playing with McL and Keldon.
I truly believe he can be our OKC Harden. Except for the part where we let him go over a few million of luxury tax.

Where's @rascal to tell how terrible Kon is?
Darn, I don't think he even wanted the Spurs drafting him at number 8, but he didn't have to worry, because if the Spurs were picking at 8, he was long gone. We're really lucky we got the number 2 pick. Looking at him now, Kon would have been great at number 8, but he wouldn't have been available by then.

Nice! I was surprise to see him on the bench vs the Suns, I was curious if he was going to stay in SA like Victor. If he made the trip I would assume their is a high chance of him playing sometime during the remaining 3 game road trip. If not I'm 100% sure he will play the home game on Tuesday vs the Grizz.

Early on it is looking like Harper is a fast healer like TP!

So good to see Harper out there. His influence is similar to HB, very calming, just an intelligent baller. So weird for a 19year old. He makes it look so easy. Already delivers passes on the money where players want the ball. I didn't realize his playmaking has Harden-like potential. Will be good for him to get a few games under his belt before Castle and Wemby return. Seems like a guy who could fit in on any team and make winning plays. Imagine what he could do with a couple of elite shooters.
