Will the Spurs get HCA in the '25-26 Playoffs?

They can get the 1 seed if SGA's injury turns out more serious. That's if we can also avoid injuries to our players. Injuries are basically every team's kryptonite.

Won't start thinking that way unless they manage to go 7-2 over their next 9 tbh.
With SGA & J-Dub still out for a while, think we'll get it down to 1-game but never get over the hump (Spurs only need to match their record because we own the tiebreak). It would be good for us to be in the mix so the team would stay focused down to last game in the season.

Thread title might need to get edited to "Number 1seed race" after ASB if Spurs take care of business vs Lakers & Warriors, tbh
I would never wanna jinx it like that tbh :st-lol: I'm real good with HCA to ease the guys into the playoffs, #1 seed is a luxury (plus I fear Curry in any elimination game)

Timberpups looking like hot garbage right now against the Clippers. They just be bricking 3s and look unorganized without a real PG.

Never liked the Clippers, but I'm rooting like hell for them for obvious reasons.

Clippers might not have gotten the memo they're supposed to roll over and die... Garland and Mathurin aren't bad pieces at all... I'm curious to see what the Clips look like once those guys get incorporated into the lineup.

Timberwolves are the worst matchup for us only because both teams are suspect to having high highs and low lows.
Therefore, we can get blown out within minutes against them, like we've seen already.

On the other hand, Thunder and Rockets are more consistent and obviously better in Thunder's case, but don't have the same firepower.

Nuggets are the team I'd like to avoid the most if they're healthy because everyone shoots above 40% and we like to leave shooters wide open.

19 point Clippers lead down to 7 since I tuned in. Time to turn it off.

wasnt that long ago the wolves were the one team in the west that was gaining ground on everybody else, now they've lost 8 of their last 13

I guess they are tanking to get us
If we stay at 2 we'd get a team out of the play-in, it'd be stupid to go through that route to target the Spurs rather than trying to get a top 6 pick and, maybe, aiming for Houston.

The Suns are starting to wobble a bit lately and they have tough schedule ahead, so I still expect the Wolves to stay ahead of them. Good thing that Minnesota have the Hawks tomorrow at home for the opportunity to snap out it of this funk.
