If we stay at 2 we'd get a team out of the play-in, it'd be stupid to go through that route to target the Spurs rather than trying to get a top 6 pick and, maybe, aiming for Houston.

If they stay at 7, they get a hobbled Warriors team in the play-in or the one man team Clippers. I think they can beat both and still get a favorable matchup against us in the 1st round. But yes, it's still foolish to "tank" games now. OKC isn't far from falling to #2 either.

The Suns are starting to wobble a bit lately and they have tough schedule ahead, so I still expect the Wolves to stay ahead of them. Good thing that Minnesota have the Hawks tomorrow at home for the opportunity to snap out it of this funk.

Doesn't matter, you don't want to have your fate lie on a single game vs Steph, if you can guarantee your place in the playoffs with a top 6 seed, with only 1 team to avoid (Denver)

Exactly. For the level & pedigree of talent on that team (availability factored in), they really had not business being a Top 2-3 seed in the West.. Post-Giannis Bucks or Magic should hire Jenkins next offseason

IF the Spurs stick to the 3-guard offense, Wemby controlling himself and let the game gets to him, Castle more of a scoring 2 than forced to facilitate, give Fox and Harper the primary ball handling, any of Barnes/CB/Sochan/Olynyk show up. Vassell, Keldon do their thing, the Spurs have a very good chance of getting HCA. It’s consistency as a young team.

SPAM means the team is playing their best come postseason time but they start ramping up their level of play during the RRT tbh.

Hawks @ Wolves (minnesota is now 6 losses behind us, so not a big concern. probably better that they knock ATL off)
Cavs @ Nuggets (we are 3 losses ahead of Denver)
Thunder @ Lakers (first of a b2b for the Lakers, who we then get to play the next night. assuming we can handle our business against LA, its probably better they knock off OKC. we are 3 games behind OKC, 3 games ahead of LAL. win against them on tuesday puts us up a further game, and also clinches the season series and tiebreak)
