Well, the Lakers and the Spurs play at the same time on Sunday so we have a decision to make. Do we go for it against Denver or just sit?

Yeah, his longevity and conditioning are unquestionable and he's been flat great since day-one as a high school kid which is pretty unbelievable. Carrying that to 41 is unreal.

But Jordan's peak was a stupid 12 yrs of no one is truly close. Like easily the best guy on O AND the best perimeter defender whose legitimately up there with Prime Hakeem, Rodman, DRob, Dikembe, and Glove. Absolute shut-you-down who would also snipe everything loose without losing position or gambling, 7 top5 DPOY in 8 seasons in the era of the great defensive centers. Jordan's career STL/g would've lead the NBA in 8 of the past 10 yrs. And he was dunking over those great defensive centers every night, ridiculous. Then he dipped during his prime for 2 yrs and came back to take 3 more 'ships, 3 more scoring champs, and 3 more top6 DPOY in his 30s. Stupid.

No one is even close. Bron is not fucking close. Bron is all-time, he's phenomenal, he should've been GOAT, but he's not close. Pick LeBron's best offensive season, then pick his best defense season. Maybe his O peak getting 8 or 10 assists matches MJ's worst O season but its fucking close, and together on both sides his cherry-picked best O/D wouldn't match MJs worst from 87-98. Simply next next level.

Rib contusion, ie at worst a bone bruise (which sucks, painful for weeks but not a big deal on a non weight bearing bone). And contusion in sports often mean it hurts a little, we got to call it something to not get fined.

Not something that is prone to particular exacerbation like a soft tissue pull and its something that 1/2 the guys in the NFL play 1/2 the season with every yr, along with lots of guys in MLB after driving for a ball/sliding/colliding with someone. Happens all of the time. Could be in a spot where it hurts to raise up, but given that the dude came back after it happened, then put up 23 shots in 26 minutes, much more likely a total nothing burger.

There's absolute no reason to think its a big deal. His play and Mitch's playing him the same game it happen and them tonight are pretty strong evidence of that. Barring a direct hit to the exact same spot, its not something that will get worse. It may be painful, that's it.

To each is his own. I'd much much rather play the Rox or Lakers than Minny, but I'd much much much rather play Minny then Denver. Matchups matter. I like how we matchup against Minny, I really don't like how we matchup against Denver.
This is like the Spurs/Suns/Mavs back in the day, each had someone else's number. I'm not afraid of Gorbert of Wemby, but Gorbert guards Joker as well as anyone in the NBA and Jaden can cuz problems. I like Steph on Ant, Denver doesn't have the same POA defender for him, but Denver can put Gordon on Wemby and disrupt him more than most. Matchups.

Played tonight, looked good, a lil rusty, but 22 pts in 27 minutes. Got the W while resting Randle, Gorbert and Naz in a game the Rox really really wanted, they played KD, Jarari, and Amen 40 mins each.

Minny is super deep now after adding Ayo, Anderson and bringing Conley back (and rested) plus Terrance Shannon has scored 56 in the last 2 games in case they need an 11th man and Joe Ingles can still hit a 3 if they need an emergency shooter.
They've got 6th guys shooting better than our best shooter, DiVincenzo #7. Scary, but less scary than Joker ahahaha.

Right, but DEN and MIN would probably be a long series with the winner being worn down more so than the Spurs (hopefully).
