Lakers 87% chance to take this one, Suns missing 1/2 their rotation. They'll be a huge favorite over Utah. The #3 seed is very much in play for them.

I've never wanted a Laker win so bad in my life. They are playing with 5 NBA players, but you can bet LeBron wants to capture the #3 next to his son without Luka and Reaves, I'd bet he's getting his season high points tonight.

Lakers backups are horrible. Lebron went to the bench and Phoenix cut that lead from 16 to 9 in like 40 seconds :st-lol:

Real talk… is MIN after an easy sweep over LAL “better” than the winner of a tough DEN/MIN series?

Just let the chips fall where they may

Actually Spurs have nothing to play for on sunday. That game doesnt really matter. It will show whether the spurs care about their 2nd round match up. Which is weird.. in the past i never seen a team care about their potential 2nd round match up.

If pop is the one coaching he’ll probably wont play wemby and wont care about matchup. As long as the team stays injury free come playoffs.

Spurs needs to play wemby and steph to beat denver on sunday.
IDK, Lost by 5 without Wemby. No Murray either, but Keldon and Kornet scored 5 points on 12 shots. Sure, shit would have to go right, but we can beat them imo.

Also, do they want to win?
Do they want Hou/OKC/SAS or Minny/SAS/OKC? Gorbert to Wemby to Chet, tall fucking order. Given they sat their entire 7-man rotation tonight, doesn't look like they're trying hard to secure #3.

If I'm Adelman, I'd much rather face Rockets than Minny. Adams is tough but Joker will eat him for the 10mpg they play, then destroy Alpi/KD/Amen and anyone else they put on him.
Obvi Ant needs to be healthy enough but I think he is. Randle, Jaden, Ayo and Naz look fucking great right now. Gobert was specifically acquired to limit Joker, and plays him as well as anybody, much much much better than Wemby does against Joker. Naz was solid against Joker in '24. Minny is super scary, deep, and playoff tested. I'd take the team without a PG with the "Star", Joker-lite C that Joker will score 50 a night on. There's no easy path in the West, but Min-SAS-OKC would be about the toughest path ever with Joker matching up against the 3 best defenders series after series, each with a quality backup, with the most physical one first. Tough fucking road there.

Lebron with 22 at half on the second night of a b2b where he carried them last night too. Crazy he's still able to turn it on like this at 41 years old tbh.
I think he REALLY cares tonight. He wants to secure #3 and do it without Luka and do it next to his son. Not much left for him to do, but taking #3 from Joker without any help at 41 would be pretty fucking cool.
