Player The Haggard Falcon Rest Home of Harrison Barnes

Barnes seemed more rusty than I expected this preseason. The question is, does it point to a decline or is it just a matter of flipping the regular season switch?

Still waiting to see if the old Barnes shows up, or if the OLD Barnes continues to show up.

He might need a couple of games to get his legs under him. It's also that the team is much better, so he will look worse.

Locker room guy that knows his role and stays ready to execute. Winning teams need guys like HB to keep the standard and show the way. Needs to continue making 3s to stay on the court, but I'm good with the old head sticking around while the Spurs build this thing out.

He’ll need to go to the bench soon, but agree with keeping him a few more years. He definitely calms the young guys down on the floor when things tighten up (just go back and look at the Heat game).

I’m guiltily of this, but the other thing is who are you realistically replacing him with? That needs to be part of our trade takes here. Sure I’d LOVE a Jabari Smith to upgrade that position, but he’s just not available to us right now.

I'll never give up on Cute Wizard.
It’s distracting, and makes the scroll much longer, since each message is like 5X as high.

I didn’t do it lightly, but when like 6 in a row got fired off in one thread, I’d had enough. This is a sports board, not a comics board. They can post what they want, but I don’t have to see it.

Man at some point y'all gotta realize preseason don't mean shit for these old heads.

We got a FRP for one the best experienced vets and teammates in the league who still has something left in the tank... Kings :st-lol:

Another great game from Harrison. His best of the season, and thankfully better commentating as I'd had enough of Sean saying Mr. 100% on every shot he takes.

Harrison played like the perfect PF the team needs last night. Hit big shots and played excellent defense.

Barnes is key for this roster, his capacity to stretch the floor and the vet presence are what the spurs need right now. His defensive struggles are being compensated by the rest of team, team that’s remains elite with him on the floor

Once again, the suicidal folks who forget preseason and early games are non issues to older players. There's a reason why the Spurs never started 5-0...because who gives a shit about working hard to win games in October? But with this squad it's different because they're used to be gutless worms and losers in the past.

I don’t know why he’s so tickled by that nickname. He seems to think it’s really clever to just re-state that someone has a good jump shot.

He outplayed KD. He had games where he got hot from 3 like yesterday, but that defense he played on Durant was great. The fact that the Kings traded him to us with a swap attached while they now start Russell Westbrook at forward is quite funny :st-lol:
