Player The Burgeoning 3&D American Sign Language Consulate of Carter Bryant

I’m still liking Haugh. By no means a sniper but he’s shooting .352% from 3 on 5.4 attempts per game. He’s hit multiple 3’s in 16 of 23 games.

I've learned to not trust 24 year old scorers out of college. But glue guy role players translate better, I think.

CB puts way too much expectations on himself. There’s no rush, guy.

Something definitely happened over the last two weeks. It’s been a joy to watch.

Obviously Victor (and to a slightly lesser extent, Castle/Harper) will ultimately determine the fate of the Spurs over the next 5ish years…but man, us hitting on CB could really push things over the top if the rest of the chips fall our way. A player of his archetype is just so clearly the missing piece on a roster like ours.

Trying to not get too excited but a core group of Harper/Castle/CB/Wemby is shaping up to be an immaculate fit on both sides of the ball. If just one of Harper/Castle develop a consistent 3 then shit is seriously going to get scary.

CB of course has a ways to go but the fact he’s contributing like this in year one is a game-changing development for this team. I fully expected him to spend a good amount of time in Austin this year, start to show some flashes as a sophomore, and then hopefully break out in year 3.

His defense looks so good already and he's clearly a spectacular athlete. If the 3 point shooting is real... watch out

Loved seeing him stay in the corner and make the defense pay vs the Lakers G-League squad. That’s the gig on O. His form looks great with high arc on his shots. Athleticism and D are getting him time on the floor, 3 point shooting will keep him there.

Very happy for him and what a metamorphic transition from October. Cool to see him living up to his thread title here.

Carter emerging is a nice consolation prize from being one pick away from Dumars gifting the Spurs Peterson, Dybantsa or Boozer in this next draft tbh.

This is why they didn’t overpay for TM3. Maybe unlikely this season to think you’ll get TM3 level of production from CB and HB combined, but if he keeps this up the gap is that wide either.

CB displayed a jab step, dribble to left and pull up jumper in the 4Q in the Lakers game...

This mid-range technique is something that even Danny Green and Bruce Bowen don't have.

CB's ceiling can exceed D-Green and Bowen tbh if he continue developing his offense.

Since he is training with Guard Whisperer, I think there is chance he can continue to develop multiple offensive weapons other than just shooting open 3.

The Pull up Jumper and the touch pass/lob are really intriguing.
A couple of times he's made some really good passes.

Of course the competition lately has been a bit lacking, but he's showing a lot of potential.
