Player The Burgeoning 3&D American Sign Language Consulate of Carter Bryant

be interesting to see how bryant (and harper) react to a playoff environment on the road. bryant seems to be the one player on the squad who visibly demonstrates his nerves.
he’s the one of our two rookies that looks like a rookie.

Before the 23 lottery, it was estimated that the winning franchise would increase in valuation by $500M.

We won. Other teams were probably pissed, like 29 of them.

No one is going to help us build our dynasty team. No one is going to do us a solid. If we want a decent player, we’re going to have to give up one,and not from our bottom 5 players.

Landale isn’t any better overall than what we have, just greener grass. He was here on our tank teams. Nuff said. Nick Richard’s is a complete dumbass who you would hate if the Spurs actually acquired him. Bassey was here on a three year unguaranteed deal, and was cut after one to create cap space for something. He was then re-signed for one year at the minimum. Not a great show of faith, and he moved on, or maybe both parties did. Theresa reason DeAndre Jordan is chilling on the bench. All you have to do to get him off the floor is put him in the pick and roll, and get him switched onto a perimeter player, something that happens dozens of times every game.

You are one of those people who always thinks there’s a solution, but that’s not the way the world works. It’s a conundrum, because anyone who fits your profile of a player is not going to want to be third string here. He’s too good.
Ultimate sniffer takes have returned...

We are SO back.

Yeah, he can't not even look at the basket when they're Simmons-ing him.
He jumped Barnes in the rotation tonight...or at least I hope he did.
That's the whole point why I wanted him to get minutes earlier in the season. So he could be more comfortable shooting the ball by the playoffs. I wanted him ready and I still believe Mitch mishandled him. I said if before and I'll still say it now, Mitch should have been giving him more minutes to prepare him more. HB fucking sucks if he's not hitting shots. Carter can do so much more. His defense was fantastic tonight. That is why I was calling for Carter all season.

Harper will rightfully get the most attention because of the way he scored, but Bryant was massively important in tonight’s comeback. We’ve all known CB has the tools to be an elite defender, and he’s shown flashes…but tonight was the clearest display of this kid’s potential on that end. He strung together possession after possession of suffocating defense and was able to essentially anchor the defense with no true big man out there.

To see that from a 20 year-old rookie was just insanely impressive.

How many blocks did he get in this game? He was sheer terror on the defensive end tonight. That stepback 3 was also one of the plays that fueled that run.

Sorry guys, I'm a little overhyped. Dylan was incredible, Steph great, but I LOVED what Carter did. I just wish Mitch played him more in the regular season. Like after that great performance against the Clippers, he got no minutes to build off of that momentum. Just crazy.

Man, IMO, Mitch is getting bailed out by some brilliance from the young guys.

Spurs also had confidence in him bringing the ball up the court off the inbound pass.
He can do it. He was working on stuff like that is some of the videos I saw with TGW. I think it's something CB can do in the future for real (Point Forward).

Edit : To add, it's more the working on his offense why I wanted him to get more minutes in the regular season and be in the rotation. I was confident in his defense and rebounding and thought that is how/why he'll supplant HB. Keep it up and keep it going CB! This kid has shown he can raise it up in critical situations. It's only one game, though, so gotta keep it going.

Only had 3 points on 1/5 shooting and still impacted the game massively in the 2nd half with his defensive effort and energy. That's what it's all about. Great job tonight by the kid finding ways to impact the game despite his shot not falling.

plays like a rookie, but it's not like portland is full of experienced guys. He is performing way better than expected, even if he didn't have his shot today. He has done a great job on avdija especially, minus a few rookie style fouls.

How bout him bringing the ball up the floor? A little more confidence in the 3 ball and CB is gonna be a PROBLEM.

I was surprised that Mitch allow this, as this is the first time (none in the regular season) they let CB bring the ball up and in the playoffs!

Not everyone is Dylan Harper, that super poised, ready right out of the box rookie. Some of them need reps and time.

That was actually a smart tactical move. Portland was trying to hide Avdija on him defensively but is doing the whole full court pressure thing on D.

Having him bring it up made flopped have to expend energy in the fourth playing full court D instead of running back and hiding in the corner every play.

He wasn’t ready then.
I believe he was up for it. We'll have to disagree on that one. If given the court time, I think he would have caught on and played better. He was jittery and trying to do too much, but I think that's because Mitch didn't give him many minutes, so I think he was always trying to press in his very short stints. If he had longer stints I think he would have settled in more.

And a lot of you guys didn't even want to play him at all this season.
