I've been rooting hard for the kid, but man has he been disappointing.
WTF you just quoted an asinine post I found on Facebook. That's already been debunked. He does not have small hands. hahaUnfortunately, Carter Bryant has relatively small hands. Given his size, he struggles to grip and control the ball the way other players of similar build can. This is likely the main reason he lacks a consistent layup package and often loses the ball when attempting one-handed dunks. Only time will tell if this limitation will affect his development moving forward.
Combine measured 8'5" hand lenght and 9'5 hand width.
Does he have small hands or something? Feels like he misses every dunk
I think it’s just been injury issues, and needing players on the floor. Is there some reason he's not in Austin right now? Obviously management thinks he's a top 10 roster player but I'm not seeing it and it doesn't sound like anyone else is either. He looks like a frightened puppy.
it's simply that he is going for power dunks to wow people instead of a lebron dunk, and you need a lot more control of the ball and your body to dunk it with power with one hand

his brain is on the short side, that's all it isCombine measured 8'5" hand lenght and 9'5 hand width.

Are his fingers on the short side?
This.I think him not playing in Austin is related to Sochan not playing at all right now. Mitch has moved on from Sochan and is investing in Carter. It would be weirder if Carter was in Austin and Sochan still wasn't playing. This seems like a necessary compromise.
Well its bad development from whoever is doing this. Some games he dont play,Some days he plays only 6 mins.If hes notI think him not playing in Austin is related to Sochan not playing at all right now. Austin Spurs were one of the best team in gleague at the start of the season but they are now one of the worst team. They have lost a lot of quality players (mostly point guards and centers) dues to injuries and calls up.
In general, Spurs don't seem to view gleague as a great place to develop players. They should be even more dubious than usual given how bad Austin currently is.
Yeah, not like they found and developed an All-Star talent with a #29 pick or something. Or found two excellent role-players with same #29 draft picks....This team flat out can’t draft unless they get a top 4 pick. Not surprising.
Wasn’t that all RC?Yeah, not like they found and developed an All-Star talent with a #29 pick or something. Or found two excellent role-players with same #29 draft picks....
Such history-blind takes. We're still reaping the benefits of selling off both of our #29 pick talents for surplus, actually.
Not sure if serious. 3 months in and you’re already doing a 180 on CB because of 6 min game time TV adhd diagnosis?he still might be fine, but definitely a limited role player for a whiiille.
If you’re drafting a project, you should check in on their SAT score or some measurement of their intelligence. Jeremy and CB aren’t the type of guys you want to have to teach. CB because of what seems to be very clear ADHD that isn’t under total control and Jeremy who seems like…sorry…just kind of stupid in general. Half of project development is their raw talent. But the other half is them doing grown up things like taking the learning process seriously and challenging themselves and recognizing when something isn’t working and constantly recalibrating. You can’t hold their hands through it. They need to have an internal compass.
I didn’t realized you only wrote five words in your previous post and everything else is just just filler. My bad.“He still might be fine” is a 180? If there’s a point here, I’ll reply to it. But I don’t think you read what I wrote.
Did RC step off the team during the off-season and I didn't hear about it?! I don't think so, but holy shit if he did...Wasn’t that all RC?
so he's not some Nostradamus. I seem to recall some articles round draft time about how the Spurs are very democratic in the "war room", so it's not like RC was single-handedly scouting and picking Dejounte or DWhite anyways.
