Good learning experience for Castle last night - the better he gets, the better the defenders he's going to face. It's good for him to get defended by someone who's both longer and stronger than him, and a dialed in Kawhi is still one of the best perimeter defenders in the game today. Got his cookies snatched a couple times which he'll learn from in the long run, and still managed to keep his composure enough to come up with that clutch offensive rebound and score at the end.

It's not like a healthy Kawhi is a scrub as Spurs fans we know he helped us get ring and got Toronto a ring plus he is big physical SF that is a tough match up. The best part castle did not back down and kept fighting. He will get better from this experience. Why I don't fret when players have bad games or young players have bad stretches it is going to happen over an 82 game season.

Side note on Nephew...

There was an article by Michael c Wright IIRC. Nephew also came to acknowledge CB after the game. They were kinda connected as CB's dad was one of the assistant coach at San Diego or Nephew's high school (I forgot was college or high school), and hence Nephew know who CB is. CB said that Nephew said something like CB has grown so big now and encouraged him to trust the process and keep going. CB is drafted 14 years after Nephew.

CB has mentioned few times that Nephew was his favorite player growing up.

It was Cade for Harper. For Castle, when reporters mentioned that his game resemble D Rose, Castle said that he watched a lot of Westbrook films.
