My “old girl” lied about changing her ways (servers), talked shit about me when I left (posters over there saying the forum is better without us), and never told me about her true self (who is the new owner really?). Not exactly innocent.

It’s like a law firm. Many of the names on the masthead aren’t partners any more. It’s good for business continuity, though. I think if they sold it without an agreement of use, and everyone knew they were no longer affiliated, someone may have done something like BB 10 years ago.

@SpurSpike does bring up one good point... and I don't really care about being "better" than ST or whatever. I'll forever be grateful for LJ and Kori for what they created when SpursReport became a shithole. We all made that exile together, just like we did this time. This is just the next evolution and I don't have any animosity or ill will towards ST. If we are Wemby, and BB is the Spurs... then ST is Mets92. An important part of our history.

This thread was meant as a tribute to LJ and Kori... and if they have an interest in just talking Spurs, I hope they'll choose to do so with us here.

The general feeling is that whoever is running it is using AI to generate the grades. My thought is that part of the transfer was the right to use their names.

None of this is gospel, because most transactions like that come with an NDA. If LJ had come in and clearly peace outed, this migration would have happened nine years ago.

I think you are getting lost here... Spurstalk has been "sold" to new owner a while back, nobody is talking shit at spurstalk per say, everybody is grateful for LJ and Kori for putting together this community. The "bashing" is towards the new owner who just don't give a shit, lie in a regular and take nonetheless the time to call out people to move out here. He is right tho it is outrageous to look for a functionning forum to talk ball smh...
