Spurstalk was an awesome place 15 years ago or so. I remember the GTGs at games, Scott's house, my house, and fantasy football. Scott knows that when you're in charge, the amount of complaining you have to deal with makes you question whether it's all worth it or not. It sounds like LJ and Kori decided to sell years ago, and part of that sale required anonymity. It's unfortunate the new owners let it go to crap, but not surprising considering that most had no idea how much Kori and LJ had to do and pay to keep that forum running. I remember some of the old-timers mailing them a check to help defray costs, but I know it was never close to being enough. Kori coming in here and laughing at the idea that she and LJ are getting divorced and telling everyone to have fun is 100% something Kori would write, and I would bet that was the real her.
I'm shocked and ecstatic that Scott has decided to take on this project—the community should consider itself lucky. Awesome seeing the OGs and Newer Gs that made Spurstalk great. I hope and will do my best to help recapture what made Spurstalk a special place, and btw, it definetly wasn't Political Talk.
