Yeah, even the biggest Spurs homer couldn't have predicted how well the team has done this season. Quite an accomplishment for these guys, and Mitch for that matter. No coach wants to be the one to replace a legend. Lucky for Mitch, Pop was willing to take the Spurs through the tanking years...he probably should have left that up to his underlings and stepped away a few years ago.
