Trade Spurs Trade Ideas

I think its pretty clear that this FO sees value in adding a perimeter defender to bolster the perimeter D, hence the KE and Alvarado noise. There also seems to be interest in adding a PF that can rebound and a 3 pt threat. Maybe they can get two of those 3 things in one player...
i dont mind either of those guys cuz this team can use high motor energy guys like them

I'm good with them too. I thought Aldama, Huerter, and Alvarado would be good targets to help this season and not hamper us longterm, but there are several different combinations we can target to address these weaknesses.

Spurs being interested in Alvarado and Keon Ellis is weird...
Barnes losing his 775 consecutive starts streak is weird...

Trade deadline is in 5 days... :st-stirthepot:

Kings need a pf with some athleticism, so I can see why they'll be interested in Sochan. But at the same time, Kings will be a very different team next season.

I don’t want anything except a PF who can shoot and rebound. Nothing else interests me in the least.

Hoopshype reports Suns are interested in Sochan and a trade with Nick Richards was discussed. As a 3rd C, why not.

Nick Richards killed us in one of the early season matchups, so that would be very Spursian. Also, you can never under-estimate the value of 6 hard fouls in the playoffs. He's a bit older, but, probably just a rental anyway.

Not sure if I want a low FT % player - Keon Ellis

Ellis is essentially Boguns, slightly more dynamic but less strong.

I’ve cooled on Ellis as a trade target. Spurs can’t afford to keep him long term without trading away Dev or letting Keldon walk next season. Plus the wing rotation would be too crowded.

Spurs need offense not defense.

Ellis makes a ton of sense if you're trading Fox for Lauri, or something similar, otherwise I don't see the point (and I quite like Keon Ellis)

The New York Knicks proposed a trade package of Guerschon Yabusele and Pacome Dadiet to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for Jeremy Sochan.

The Spurs declined, unwilling to take on Yabusele’s $5.8M player option for next season.

— per Mike Scotto

Guys, why would they decline??
