Trade Spurs Trade Ideas

Didn’t read this, but, Ja and Westbrook would be a funny pairing in Sacramento. Russell might be a good mentor, actually.

The closer the deadline gets, the more I think that Mr. Wright will have some decent options as ancillary parts of bigger trades and will make the right call for this season and for the long haul.
Basically Hollinger pushes that the only teams that really make sense for Morant are Heat, Nets, or Raptors.

Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I watched a bit of NOP v WAS yesterday and was once again left impressed with Tristan Vukcevic who had 15pts 4 reb and 5 blk in 23 min. He is not shooting very well this season (.193 from 3 on 8.2A/100) but he was pretty decent last year (.373 on 9.5A/100). He's on a two-way, so we'd have to negotiate some kind of deal with him - maybe something similar to what Bassey and Champ got, a non-guaranteed 4/10 or something like that.
Became a Vukcevic fan after he stomped us last game

The thing I find really interesting that I haven't seen anyone mention is that Ja Morant has played in fewer games in the last 7 years than Anthony Davis has. Ja has passed the 65 game threshold only once in his career-- in his rookie season-- and never again since. That, plus his impact stats have been in decline for 4 straight years, If I was a GM. I wouldn't consider him under any circumstances.

Fair, but a chunk of those games were for the two gun brandishing incidents.

The Clippers are in win now mode and couldn't tank even if they wanted to. They have no reason to trade Collins, especially if he's playing well.
Agreed. I know it's not happening. Just fun to keep this bit going tbh. But Collins really is playing well right now.

17.6 PPG, 6 RB, 2 BLK, 1 STL in 29 minutes on 71/64/76 shooting with an 85% eFG in the last 7 games...

Meanwhile Harrison Barnes is shooting 20% (!!) from 3 his last 13 games lol.

Side note: We really need a Mitch emoji tbh.

Front office needs to monitor this closely. All his looks are wide open and if he is going to shoot this poorly, it may be a sign of fatigue / inevitable age related decline. We need a plan B for the minutes at the 4 in case this is the new reality. Trade deadline about a month away.... 👀

Again, glad it's happened now and he didn't continue shooting well all regular season and then pulled this shit in the playoffs. At least the team can try and figure out what to do. There's also still time to the trade deadline, so maybe they can find something there.

If they can get MPJ for Ja that would be a great trade. MPJ is the better player as of right now.
Yes! It also might make Aldama available which would make some of us here very happy. I have sense that the tanking and trade deadline deals are going full tilt this season. Could open the door for a bunch of secondary deals for Brian Wright.

people are now saying MPJ will head to the Warriors with Kuminga going to Sacramento and draft capital to the Nets. Curious to see. Sign me up for Aldama.
