that means Saddiq Bey is available
From an objective standpoint... I don't think I blame them (aside from Zion, who I'd be looking to salvage anything I can for). The rest are a pretty decent core to add a Top 5 pick to next season... oops.
Trae should be a cautionary tale to teams on the dangers of holding a distressed asset too longFrom an objective standpoint... I’d consider moving to SLC to see that play out firsthandMorant in Utah would be the funniest thing possible.
With Davis going out, AGAIN, no fucking way. That swap is likely to be SPICY, forget even adding another pick. Can’t happen now, but in the off season, if Dallas is wanting to get control of its own pick back PJ Washington for their swap + a pick seems very enticing to me
Add a pick from the Spurs' side? No thanks. Dallas don't have their own draft pick after this year until 2031 (Just the Lakers' first round pick in 2029). Davis is always hurt. I don't know, maybe Dallas gets better through free agency, but that pick swap could be a good one. Can’t happen now, but in the off season, if Dallas is wanting to get control of its own pick back PJ Washington for their swap + a pick seems very enticing to me

Clutchfans back to it's natural state of meltdown. Here’s for all Jabari Smith fans during that draft (another one I was right on)

Jabari Smith Trade Thread
He can’t stay around if he can’t shoot 37%+ from 3 consistently. Would love for him to prove us wrong, but it’s not looking that way So therefore,...bbs.clutchfans.net
Either way, they're not getting shit for him next summer. Not even one good FRP because noone is that dumb and teams that are desperate don't have good FRPs to trade.Mavs don't need to fire sale AD at this deadline and they would be stupid to do so. (well, they are, but that's a different story).
What I meant/was saying is, he's always hurt, so they can't afford to get a poor return for him since they don't have a lot of their own draft picks after 2026. They need to maximize whatever they get back for him, otherwise, the only way they can really improve the team is mostly from FA signings. I don't know if you guys agree or disagree, but I don't think they can level up much through trades. That swap is in 2030 - I fail to see what AD will have to do with that.
Mind boggling to me how they thought building a team around Domantas Sabonis 2.0 is gonna result in a championship. But then again, they Rockets fansClutchfans back to it's natural state of meltdown.
They must make a trade before the deadline and get a legit point guard or it's going to be a wasted season.
It's tough to watch their offense, players that can't create for themselves look useless for long stretches.

I thought that Sengun is a placeholder with them trying to maximize his value until someone like Giannis becomes available, but that doesn't seem to be the case.Mind boggling to me how they thought building a team around Domantas Sabonis 2.0 is gonna result in a championship. They still have the Middleton contract…^^^I will continue to bang the drum that Zion should go to WAS to pair with Trae. It won't deliver winning basketball, but it will be a lot of fun (when they do play) and it will give WAS an easy exit from both of those contracts and they'll have cap space again.
I wanted him in the offseason. He had a pretty good game against us last season and I think he's underpaid. Easily deserves a minimum NBA contract.Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I watched a bit of NOP v WAS yesterday and was once again left impressed with Tristan Vukcevic who had 15pts 4 reb and 5 blk in 23 min. He is not shooting very well this season (.193 from 3 on 8.2A/100) but he was pretty decent last year (.373 on 9.5A/100). He's on a two-way, so we'd have to negotiate some kind of deal with him - maybe something similar to what Bassey and Champ got, a non-guaranteed 4/10 or something like that.
Didn’t read this, but, Ja and Westbrook would be a funny pairing in Sacramento. Russell might be a good mentor, actually.
