They are getting the results of a team that's blown it up already...Clippers don’t own their own pick until 2030. They can’t blow it up.
If they were going to do it, they should have kept Powell. They are getting the results of a team that's blown it up already...
They probably should have, but this is where they are. They're a bottom team as-is and probably a bottom team if they move Harden. The only difference is they'll have a couple more assets... there's no real win on their horizon..If they were going to do it, they should have kept Powell.
Yes pleaseSochan for Jarace Walker?
Why would Indiana do this lolSochan and McLaughlin for TJ McConnell
Jarace Walker is struggling but I'd much rather bet on his tools than Sochan's (much better shooter, better passer, also has defensive upside). Sometimes teams convince themselves "the grass is greener on the other side" and a change of scenery is in order, in any case it doesn't hurt to call. I'd add a second rounder or two if necessary, it's not like the Spurs are going to put it to good use by drafting someone good anyway. Why would Indiana do this lol
Bonner/blair/neal trade packages in 2025
Batum had his chance to play for the Spurs. Him and his wife blew it. They can stay in the Clippers or he can go back to France after the Clippers contract ends.Batum is absolutely washed. Not quite Brook Lopez, CP3 washed, but not far off.

I would agree that a long term and substantial upgrade will require Dev. Sochan can fetch you a rental upgrade only.Vassell and Sochan in a package could get you a starting PF.
Should trade Vassell to open up more minutes for Harper and get an upgrade replacement for Sochan.
This take doesn’t resonate with me at all.Yes that would be highway robbery for the spurs. I like all three of those guys.
We need to trade DV soon. He just has to go. I just don’t think he’s the type of player we need. He is selfish and thinks he’s better than he is. Champ probably needs to go to. I think he’s caught the virus. Their entire end game is putting up a contested three point shot. That is not going to consistently get us wins. We already have a top 10 center who does that who is going nowhere.
That’s a tough call with our two best players out. Seemed he deferred more with castle and Wemby on the court. I’m not gonna look it up because at the end of the day I value his production and he’s certainly playing more within himself this season than any other.I am not saying who they should be traded for but I just feel like these two are going to hold you back from being a great team comparable to say okc. Their players all are sort of of a similar sharing the ball mindset to get the most open player the shot. These two and especially DV really don’t give a fuck who is open most of the time. They are taking theirs. In other words they play too selfishly for a top tier team. Honestly if DV gets an assist I think it’s an accident.
Sometimes draft "busts" just need a change of scenery. Aaron Nesmith was considered a bust in BOS before they moved him over to IND and he blossomed. If Walker was better, it would cost a lot more to get him than Sochan and some SRPs.He’s as much of a bust as Jeremy is.
Walker has more tools to work with than Jeremy and he was drafted one year later. It'd give us a good look to see how he could fit with Wemby. Can he get his 3 ball back to his collegiate numbers? Does he have it between the ears to play at a high level? All that's to be determined, but the one thing we do know is that Jeremy is what he is and it doesn't work here.Sometimes draft "busts" just need a change of scenery. Yep. A swap of Jeremy for Walker (plus whatever is needed on top) would be a swap of a guy who isn't working with a skill set that doesn't fit for a guy who isn't working with a skill set that does fit.Walker has more tools to work with than Jeremy and he was drafted one year later. Watching the game tonight he's logged the vast majority at the 3 and a few minutes at the 5. I haven't seen anything at the 4 but I didn't see the whole half. Man, he still moves his feet well and is almost exclusively guarding the perimeter. He's not really part of the offensive flow and the Pacers just dont look good, but he's playing with effort. I think he needs structure and consistency.Yep.
