Game Thread Spurs (59-18) @ Nuggets (49-28) (Sat 4/4/2026) [2:00PM CDT]

4 of those 24 wins were against teams that are currently top6 in either conference.
Rockets on the opening night.
Hawks that were terrible early on.
Lakers without Lebron.
Timberwolves.
Exactly and that's a narrative that I was listening to in the past week concerning the MVP discussion from the various pods.

I mean I believe Wemby deserves MVP and he likely would've won it had the Spurs finished with the 1-Seed, but OKC's been just as hot as we have the past couple months tbh.

We're 21-2 since the All-Star Break. They're 19-2 over that same span.
To be fair, they've been without various players during that time and they were able to keep that one seed. I'm not hating, it's just annoying listening to that 24-1 shit when they had a charmin soft schedule in the beginning of the year.

These were a gift from one of my suppliers. I have no clue what the face value is, but I saw tickets in this section for sale against POR for $3500. For today’s game im guessing they’ll go for at least 5k?

True bucket list stuff today. If you see a guy getting ejected across from the Nuggs bench that’s me 😂

I'm glad I was able to buy courtside tickets for only 500 dollar last year to see Victor play in Charlotte. I figured at that time it was a now or never opportunity to see him play and tickets in the future would get even more expensive. It was good to see him a play and get to check that off my bucket list. I probably will never buy tickets again to see him play in person knowing how jacked up the rates are going to get over the years going forward.

Damn Prime just had a really awesome Shea Serrano video in the pregame. That was awesome.

Lakers are almost guaranteed the 3 spot even without Luka. Denver will be the 4th seed. Spurs are going to face Portland in the first round after they upset Phoenix.

What kind of supplier are we talking about? Drugs? 😂

Shit man, I work for a major automotive supplier and we don't give out these kinds of seats. I'm in the wrong business. 😂
Well let’s just say the amount of money I spend with these guys could buy these seats for decades 😂

Yea definitely feels like the TNT crew is past their expirations date tbh. They're still good for an entertaining soundbite here or there, but in terms in actual coverage and analysis, the Amazon crew clears by a mile.

They ran out of jokes, tbh.
Were never serious analysts, but were great entertainment.
All good things come to an end and as you say, they're past their expiration date. No need to drag it on.
It was great, but it's over. They don't care anymore.
NBC crew is also good.
ESPN needs to have their NBA rights taken away.

Enjoy this game, could be the last stress free matchup against top opposition this season.
