Even on my birthday I get blamed smh. This is a lingering injury for Wemby. He rolled his ankle against the Clips 5 days ago and hasn't been 100% since. With Castle they're just being extra cautious given our opponent tonight. If we were playing a better team, he'd def be playing imo.

Me thinks the Spurs saw that the Pacers are missing basically their entire team tonight and decided this might be one they can without Wemby and Castle. This would give them some extra rest before the upcoming road trip. Hopefully I'm wrong and Wemby plays regardless. Don't wanna get cute with his post-season award eligibility in case he really does need to sit for a game or two down the stretch tbh.

Wemby isn't a player that half asses things. If he's playing he's playing hard. Besides, going half speed is a great way to get injured because you aren't mentally engaged in the game.

If Vic plays he has to do his whole warm up routine etc. if the ankle is really not good then sit him. I want him to get to 65 games as much as anybody but this is the second time we hear about these ankle problems so better be safe here.
