Nothing was funnier than on ST when Amuseddaysleeper would start a game thread and people were legit calling for him to be banned

Fox is a lucky one. Wemby really saved his career. I really wish the Spurs get him a ring because i don't think he will be here for the long run.

I've been thinking about this and was going to comment...but here is what I was thinking;

Fox - deserves props - he alone saw what other NBA stars had not seen or their pride prevented them from seeing or they are haters...
but Fox?

He knew he was up for his next contract and understood that Wemby and the spurs were going places and he signed on early - he forced that trade and left Sac very little choice and alerted Sac so they could get some assets too...

very very shrewd move and I feel he is the perfect PG for the spurs and I am definitely- NOT- one of the haters here who are already shitting on Fox - thinking he is expendable soon - because the spurs have castle and harper...
why boneheads here continue to spew this nonsense is just baffling...all three are needed and appreciated and NECESSARY for the spurs success.

I'm really hoping that's the case and he doesn't play against the Pacers; with not only a playoff berth, but also the #2 seed pretty much secured already, the Spurs should be leaning heavily into the "rest guys for the postseason" strategy.

Wemby needs to play the games to qualify for DPOY/MVP/All-NBA, sure, but the rest of the team doesn't really have that constraint, and we'd be wise to use that in our favor. Castle in particular is bound to have a very tough postseason as he'll surely be tasked with guarding the SGA's, Luka's, and other star guards we'll go up against....

Get the rest while you can, kiddo, it's gonna be a grind from here on out.

I think it was actually Klutch that wanted one of their star guards paired with Vic. Trae wanted to come, but I’m guessing PATFO quashed that. When Fox got traded here, Trae fired Klutch.
