Game Thread Spurs (49-18) @ Clippers (34-33) (Mon 3/16/2026) [9:00PM CDT]

He's only 30yo, it's not like he's an over-the-hill vet. No reason he can't be the backup C to Victor with a young C in the pipeline to split the minutes with.

He has more than enough chemistry with everyone on the court, Wemby included, to where I wouldn't switch him out of the backup C spot unless it's absolutely necessary or his body truly breaks down, like DWhite's back in the day. Just needs some help to reduce the load or give him some designated rest days without having to rely on the corpse of Plumlee for full games...
100%. Luke can be a high level backup, he just needs a little bit of load management.

The third string C I was clamoring for was not Wemby insurance, it was for Luke insurance! Plumdog will suffice for now but I want to see at least an SRP used on a big this summer.

For real, there's no reason to have two over the hill centers (Byiombo, Plumlee. 3, if you count Olynik) in a roster. You need to have at least one young guy with the chance to develop into something more. That's an aspect of the roster that should be improved during the offseason.

With Kawhi out & Kings tanking even harder after falling ass backwards into two straights wins (5-5- in last 10), this should be an easy stress-free trip. Would be disappointing if we don't see a load of 4th Q garbage time in both games though i expect the Clips to play hard.

Kings are on a 4-1 run. :st-lol:
DDR scored 107 points in 3 games.

Tonight will be a good test to see how our young team is maturing. Hopefully they won't mess around with the Clips. We should win by 30 (or least be up by 30 when Johnson puts McLaughlin and Biyombo in the game for their customary plus/minus of -15 in the 4th quarter).

I'll take it!!

I was at a MTG tournament for like 5 days so just now catching up on the games watching the Hornets highlights I got to see some of the French Vanilla lob passes that was fun to watch hopefully we can see some again sometimes depending on match up

Finally, shot the lock off my wallet to subscribe to Peacock. Don't let me down, Carter Bryant!

So now it's League Pass AND Peacock AND Prime video. ESPN and their B crew can pack sand.

Is the game on Fanduel and/or NBC?
Not on FanDuel, it's on KENS5 locally

Btw if you go to the forums home page and scroll down to the widget that has the game schedule, if you click on the game it will expand and tell you where it's airing

good that they are giving Kornet some rest. Hope Champagnie and Keldon get some games off at some point as well. Champ was limping in the last game against the Clippers and Keldon been playing with a bad shoulder. Need everybody at 100% once the playoffs start.
