Game Thread Spurs (43-16) @ Knicks (38-22) (Sun 03/01/26) [12:00 PM CST]

Kornet probably coming in...try to get it down to 7 b4 end of quarter and i like our chances

Spurs need to go on a run now come on guys tighten up the defense and start playing better team offense again

Long way to go but not seeing anything from us that makes me think we can close this gap. Knicks are getting everything going, our D matchups aren’t working, and our offense is uninspiring, might take a bit of magic and some luck to help out

One worrying thing this game is that it highlights the team's general lack of play-making.

We just have zero "surprises", while the Knicks came very prepared for ours - they are disrupting our lobs to Wemby, packing the paint, and playing physical defense. The Spurs currently seem like they're hoping the 3 will save them, sans a Harper hero-play here and there....

Against better teams when he completely no-shows, he kind of earns it honestly
Right. Isn't this the type of game we got Fox for? When our guys are struggling he's supposed to provide a steady vet hand and break down the defense. He hasn't done shit today besides stand around at the 3pt line

How about you don’t slack off Bridges the rest of the game. Dude always kills us. Terrible philosophy.

yeah this becomes apparent when we are not hitting the 3...we have been pretty dang good from there in this winning streak

good TO by Brown, gives Mitch a chance to take out the players who aren't garbage so far

Now that was a fucking bad defensive possession. You leave unc Barnes on an island on Brunson and still give up a wide open 3.
