Not so fast. The 2005 Spurs team was objectively better and deeper than the 2004 team, plus MUCH better three point shooting with Barry a central character... in 2004 we had Turkoglu who was a career playoff choker and we had no backup point guard in '04 (literally Jason Hart who was our 4th string PG in 2001-02 and only saw the court that year 10 games when Terry Porter/Antonio Daniels were out injured, and wasn't even good enough to make the roster all year on the 2002-03 championship team, was passed up on the d-league now g-league for Anthony f**king Goldwire when Speedy Claxton went down early, yes THAT Jason Hart)...., we had Rasho Nesterovic who was an objectively weaker starting center than Mohammed, heck we struggled mightily to score on a very average defensive Lakers team that playoffs, what makes you think the 2004 Spurs, easily the worst offense in the Duncan era, could ever crack 70 points on the mighty 2004 Pistons?
