Wemby takes longer to answer postgame questions than he does between committing fouls
How concerned are u by his stagnation on that end, scott? His playmaking seems to have actually regressed from his rookie year when he used to flirt with triple double in multiple games.Offense just went to complete shit after the first quarter, mostly a function of Wemby being a dumbass
I wouldn’t be as concerned if Mitch had more cache as a coach. He may be seen more of as a peer than a superior to these guys and not have the gravitas to coach someone like Wemby hard enough. How concerned are u by his stagnation on that end, scott? For me it’s a holistic assessment based mainly on the players, coaching, general vibes.I was thinking earlier today. This is our first "good" team in the modern 3 point era. Are we sure that the modern offensive style isn't what we hate? It's high pace high variance shot chucking, and we routinely see our guys go on inside hot and cold streaks.
Same..A fugazi second seed for 5 weeks now led by a coach who is finding ever more creative ways to choke 15-points leads in games.Want to win, but also kind of want DEN to win just so Mitch doesn’t get the honor of coaching the All Star game. Would be even less deserving than LeBron going
Which, if that’s the case makes him the exact opposite of Tim Duncan, who was insanely coachable. But Tim also had a coach that wanted to coach like crazy and was hard on his players. That’s not this coach.I wouldn’t be as concerned if Mitch had more cache as a coach. Which means it’s up to Wemby to have the self-awareness to realize he hurts the team at times with shit like this. He seems to be a smart, reflective guy… but he also has a bit of an ego and may be dead set on doing it “his way”
I don’t think Wemby is not coachable, it’s just that this coach doesn’t hasn’t earned or developed the ability to coach Wemby the way he needs to be coached. I also don’t think 77-year old Pop would be the guy to do it, and I’m not sure who would these days. People will say Malone or Jenkins, but they’re just the best of the known coaches who are available. Undoubtably their in-game decisions would be better, but I’m just talking about Wemby hereWhich, if that’s the case makes him the exact opposite of Tim Duncan, who was insanely coachable. There’s never been anyone like prime pop and there prob never will be. But we don’t even need that lol we just need someone with basic and balls tbhPrime Pop wouldnt let Vic and Castle do their bs tbh. These kids desperately need a coach.
Thibs at least wouldn't be playing his starters 30mpg, tbh. There’s never been anyone like prime pop and there prob never will be. But we don’t even need that lol we just need someone with basic and balls tbh
Scott makes a good point about reputation. Wemby probably doesnt take Mitch seriouslyThere’s never been anyone like prime pop and there prob never will be. But we don’t even need that lol we just need someone with basic and balls tbh
