Game Thread Spurs (27-11) @ Timberwolves (25-14) (Sun 1/11/26) [6PM CST]

There are some reporters trying to pump up Gobert as the one who deserves to win this year. Tbh, Vic just needs to play enough games. The gap between him and the next best candidate is Scalabrine-esque.

Lindy got a ton of burn that 2nd quarter, unusual
Thought he put in some really solid work. Was pesky on defense and made the right reads on offense. Don’t need him to not be a Superman out there… he was replacing Castle/Harper minutes so anything that didn’t end in a TO or Brick was an improvement

Edwards has shot just 72% from the FT line over the past 11 games and he's 2-5 tonight.

I really hope DJG is recalled for the home stretch, he could be really useful.

Wemby's elbow game is such a thing of beauty
It was the game winning shot in boston iirc or one of them in clutch. He gets to the elbow and elevates. It's unblockable and his touch is so pure. Reminds me of when nephew got that little turn around middy worked out and was almost automatic on those.

LOL the dude just called Max Christie “Minimum Christie” in a highlight where he got dunked on :st-lol:

- Why did people say you were an alien?

- Maybe because I won my first MVP title in restricted minutes.

I missed the first half real life stuff will get to watch the second I see the Spurs found there 3pt shoot this game so far

The Timberwolves really can't make anything consistent happen when wemby is on the court. It's crazy.

Spurs have only lost six games when leading at half. SA 20-6 when leading at half
