I hope this is the right place to ask this.

Is it possible to not have a thread name show in bold, indicating new activity, if that activity is just a reaction and not an actual new post? I don't see something like that in the Preferences menu.

Mine doesn’t do this… so there must be a setting somewhere… let me see if I can find any hints

I think I see the issue, it's probably that posts from people I have on ignore cause the thread to show new activity, but I don't see the posts which makes the new activity flag confusing. That makes it seem like reactions or something else are causing the new activity flag instead.

That makes sense. I don’t have anyone on ignore, even though I wish I could sometimes
