Saw in an article in 2023 Rozier made a deal with a friend to fake an injury in the first quarter of a game. The friend sold that info to 2 big time gamblers for $200,000. I'm assuming Rozier got a sizable cut of that.

Sports leagues getting greedy and getting in bed with gambling will only lead to this type of stuff. The Rozier stuff at least, not necessarily the Billups and Bonnano crime family fraud spree.

Wow, I don't know how much money Rozier makes, but for $200, 000, that seems like such a small amount of money to me if I was an NBA player. I would not even think about doing something like that for such a small amount of money (relative to NBA salaries). These guy must blow through all their money and are desperate for more if they're doing stuff like this for these amounts of money (it is a lot of money to me, but to an NBA player, I wouldn't think it's worth it).

I always wonder how these guys get involved in this stuff. Are they blackmailed, are they burning through their money via gambling or other expenses and need more, or are they just greedy?
