Player Shams: Dylan Harper Undergoes Surgical Procedure to Repair Partially-Torn Ligament in Left Thumb

harper made it to the scrimmage in Ingram today and didn't seem to be all that bothered. i'm still hopeful that he can get in at least one week of scrimmaging in before the first game of the season.
 
Should we be focused on those lucky lottery balls again this year? If we just got one more guard derik Peterson we would have collected em all!

Lol, funny idea, but no way.

I've said it before on Spurstalk and might as well repeat it here - health permitting, I think people are gonna be shocked at how good the Spurs will be this season. I really can't imagine them missing the playoffs barring multiple injuries (touching wood here).

Wemby's ascension can only continue and he's the MVP candidate, we've got the All-Star in Fox, dynamic ball-handling guards in Castle and Harper to compliment Wemby's run-and-gun style..... I can't see ping-pong balls being a focus this season (well, maybe for the ATL pick?).

I think so too.but im amazed thst none of the famous talking heads I watch seem to think they'll be any good such as WineHorse
 
Yeah this was a pretty big buzzkill when the news broke. At least it sounds like he'll be good to go by the start of the season, but missing all of camp/preseason is tough for a rookie.

Not that it was ever super likely, but this all but guarantees that he'll be coming off the bench to start the year.
