This Minnesota team has been a tough matchup for us as of late. We went 1-2 against them this season, though Wemby didn't play in 1 of those games, and one of those losses was by 1 point. Their size and physicality tend to give our young guys some issues. With that said, the T-wolves will be missing their franchise player in Anthony Edwards for at least the first 2 games (and potentially more), and will also be without one of their best shooters for the series in Donte DiVincenzo, so — needless to say — they'll be missing some offensive firepower in this one.
Nonetheless, this is not a team to be taken lightly. They've got some dawgs over there and they will compete their ass off until the final whistle regardless of who's on the floor. With that said, zero excuse for the Spurs not to win this series. Minnesota is banged up and we'll be coming into this series on 6 days rest, and will have at least 4 days game plan for these guys.
Hopefully the Spurs show up locked in a ready to execute that game plan. We have an incredible opportunity here to advance to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2017 (!!). It's on us to go out there and seize that opportunity. That's all I got.
Let's get it!
