Said coming in the Spurs were gonna have to win all their home games in this series to win it if Ant was 70%+. They've been a tough matchup for the Spurs for years. Figured the Spurs got lucky with their injuries but they have great depth and a much better coach than the Spurs.

Those injuries are not going to magically fix themselves as the series goes on. And we played like shit. Minnesota is not some world beating championship team. We will bounce back

I mean honestly I don’t see them moving away from Mitch until/unless Wemby is 28-29 and still ringless and our team is on the decline. Spurs just wouldn’t do it, loyalty is their best and worse asset sometimes.

I think our best bet is that he just gets better and improves. First step is gonna be figuring out that Fox can sit on the bench if a rookie is outplaying him, none of this seniority shit when the chips are down, this isn’t a charity

All wide open looks are not created equal. I’d rather have a contested Wemby drive a few from the basket or a catch and shoot shot off of that instead of a Champ step back 3 there

They've owned the 4th quarter against us after we've controlled the first 3qtrs. Our offense shrivels up when their defense tightens up and they have Ant to bail them out.

Need some really big bounceback games from Fox and Wemby in G2.

Not mad. The lack of offensive leadership from Wemby and Fox should have led to a 20 point blowout tbh. The rest of the team showed a lot of grit.

If Wemby wants that MVP this year or any year, he has to figure this out. He’s young but games like this offensively are not acceptable

Spurs can win in Minny but dang this game would have been nice to have. Need to bounce back with Wemby looking for his shot inside. waited too long to come off that fox rub and beeline to the basket. Wemby is smart guys, he hates losing, and will clean up his effort on offense. dont know what say about fox other than hes gotta play better. Series seems like it will go 6-7 games.

Still think we win in 6. Our two best players played awful and our coaching was all time bad. If just one of Victor or Fox shows up on offense we win this one pretty easily tbh.

Right. I consider this nothing if Minny was healthy but they’re hobbled and we still couldn’t take advantage. We can win game 2 but I’m not feeling good about our chances playing in Minnesota.

And having Wemby/Kornet in deep drop with the point of attack defender effectively playing 1v2 also won't end well.

I'd have rather gone for an easier 2 and get to overtime. Feel like our chances are better than 40% if we come back and tie at the end of regulation. Wolves would have been completely shook.

I would have preferred a Dylan shot or Dylan drive to the rack - he may have scored and drawn the foul. I don't know, another poster said Dylan looked gassed. Maybe he didn't have enough juice to take the shot or make the play. I hope it wasn't because he thought he shouldn't due to it not being his team.

What a shit show on O. His problem of not having smarts yet to get to sweet spots has been greatly countered by Minny coach.
