This series will probably show just how indispensable Fox is to the team right now. Randle has played Wemby extremely well the last two seasons and Castle has not played well against either McDaniels or Gobert. However, Fox has owned McDaniels the last two seasons so it'll be imperative that he keeps up the pressure.

I think CB has a chance to have a really good / breakout series tbh.

There's nobody healthy on the Wolves right now that can consistently foul bait like Deni tbh which was CB's biggest "issue" against Portland. Would love to see him get mins on McDaniels and Naz Reid.

Weird how often we use the white home
jerseys and how little we use the fiesta jerseys

My understanding is that we are only allowed to use the Fiesta jerseys once per round in R1 and R2, and not at all in the WCF or Finals. I don’t know the reasons for this, but I did read this somewhere (which means it may also be incorrect)

Julius Randle is a beast of sorts, no doubt. His numbers wouldn't be so high if Aaron Gordon was healthy in Round 1. I feel like our defense might give Minny more difficulty than Denver did.......like a lot more. Randle/Champagnie could be a pivotal matchup if that's how it goes. Fox and Wemby will be the focus on O and will open the door for the rest. Castle needs to learn from Game 5 vs Portland and be smarter. I hope CB is in the mix, but, he might be used more situationally and in just a couple of games like Round 1.

Watched bits of the 2 games of the spurs / wolves in regular season with wemby

Some thoughts :
- Tough matchup for Kornet. Hope Wemby play 35+ min per game.
- Randle was great against wemby on both ends
- They tried to use Gobert on offense with screens and lobs but it was not very efficient against wemby
- Keldon with critical mistakes in both games at key moments

My bet is by game 2 or 3 they match Wemby's minutes with Randle / Naz Reid

And even with Ant, we should have won both games.
Spurs had a vey big lead in the loss and Mitch played Lindy waiters and kelly olinyk for long stretchs
