Honestly I think Minny played as good as they could possibly expect….Ant came in for 11 minutes and made an immediate impact and looks healthy. The Spurs have another gear tho, hopefully it shows in the 2nd half.

Unpopular opinion but Wemby fox Vassell and Keldon have all been pretty bad offensively and Kornet is playing like he’s scared out there, meanwhile wolves shooting well from 3, and we tied, so it could be much worse.

Much more likely one or some of our guys turn it up in the second half instead of Edwards recovering magically and lighting us up, so still got a descent feeling about this game

Minnesota has packed the paint pretty good. Spurs have gotten blocked quite a bit. Harper was the exemption. I have not even looked at the plus minus but I bet it’s better with him & Castle so far. I expect Fox to have a better second half for sure. And Wemby. Now we need DV to get going. And one of KJ or Barnes () needs to have some positive minutes.

Not sure Randle is a weak defender. And Conley has locked down Fox on a couple of possessions. I agree with the general sentiment tho, and Vic needs to stop bailing them out by shooting 3s.

There’s a reason I said mismatches. KJ can bully Randle. He can’t do that to Reid. The results are pretty clear. And Castle did most his damage against Connolly. He’s not trying to blow by him like Fox is. He’s trying to out power him and he can. He can’t do that to McDaniels.

We just went after the worst matchups a lot in that half for no reason. Extremely frustrating.

The refs have really swallowed their whistles. Only 1 FTA for the Wolves in the first half, on that Gobert and 1.

Time for the Spurs to recognize that and turn it to their advantage. Play physical defense and don't try to foul bait on offense.

I don't think he looks healthy. The jumper is still wet but he looks like he could really be attacked off the dribble.

Minny is athletic - bottom line, however, Spurs just need to execute on offense and hit shots in the 2nd half for the win. Wemby owns the paint just hope he’s not too spent to bring some offense! Work it inside and get the wolves in foul trouble.
